“This was my first visit but won't be my last. The food was incredible! The server actually recommended we order one less dish than we think we'd want because the food is so filling. He was right. My favourite was the latkas. They were cooked to perfection and the sauce was out of this world. A must try.“

Tuba came to our house last year to teach a group of friends and I how to make an array of classic Turkish dishes. It was a fun night with shared stories of food and other adventures. “Levant is a very special place. A lovely well designed room and some of the most creative and delicious food. When they tell you that "you've never had (not) pizza like this before" it's true. Some of the best flavours including - harissa honey butter cauliflower, Meat Habibi with sudjak sausage, the Sumac "Musakhan" and my personal new favourite dessert - a coconut cake with a labneh and ricotta filling served with the pistachio and saffron ice cream. Our server was excellent and very welcoming - we had an excellent time. I feel privileged to have such a place within walking distance and plan to visit as often as I can. Thanks for a lovely evening and making our neighbourhood a better place!“

“Started off with a cocktail called Faraya which was scrumdilleicious! Had the lunch special which was delicious. My friend, who is vegan, enjoyed his meal as well. Service was exemplary and very reasonably priced. Ambiance was bright and airy.“

“Visited with a group of 6 people, there is free parking all along the street. We sat in the sunroom and ordered quite a lot of food. Everything tasted delicious. Atmosphere was great as well. “We came here in a big group and it was a great experience for us. The restaurant staff were very helpful and the food was amazing. We got the Fattoush salad and the Special Kebab (chicken with beef) and they were amazing. I recommend getting the kebab if you come, the salad was done in a way I've never seen before where it's inside a bread shell and you have to break it. Overall everyone enjoyed their food and no one had any complaints. I recommend giving this place a try if you're looking for a spot with good food and a cozy vibe.“

I had the Chicken salad plate and I can't stop talking about how delicious it was to all my friends! “Stopped here while walking through the Kensington Market. It's a really nice small restaurant, the food is very affordable and delicious. Haven't had a doner kebab this good in a while! “My rating: 8.0/10. One of the better shawarmas I’ve had in Toronto. They have a good selection of toppings, different size options, and a varied menu. When I received my shawarma it was in a take out container and sliced up into bite size pieces, which I didn’t mind, and was a welcome change in presentation from your usual paper wrapping. The staff are quite friendly, and the atmosphere is not bad. They have a 10% student discount, which is an added bonus. Overall, I enjoyed the food here, and would place the shawarma in my top 8 I’ve had in Toronto (for context, I eat a lot of shawarma).
