“Stopped in to get a caramel frappe. Machine is not working. Yet again. I've lived in this area for 3 years and have yet to get a caramel frappe from this location. Not only is that bad. The cashier helped the man in front of me then just walked away and left me standing for 5 minutes without a, I'll be right back or any acknowledgment that I was standing there. You all should be embarrassed the way you run this place.“

“As a vegan finding a vegan restaurant that has more than tofu is amazing. “We stopped by at 5:15pm on Saturday for a quick meal. The spot used to be a molecular gastronomy spot called Alchemy and it seems to be a whiskey and burger joint. My burger was pretty good as were the fries. Everything came out fairly quickly and was tasty. I also enjoyed the cocktail I got. The ambiance was confusing because the elegant and upscale decor leftover from Alchemy clashed with the blaring country music and casual uniforms of the staff.“

“Everything from the walk in the door to the very last bite was AMAZING! Cute smaller place with some seating and cute hammock swings. The owner was taking an order at the counter but greeted me and helped me as soon as he finished with them. He said it would be a 20 minute wait as items are made fresh. My food came out within the promised timeframe. The honey hot chicken sandwich and fries smelled so good, I couldn’t wait to get home. After a 30 minute drive home, the food was still hot and tasted way better than I expected after transport. I can’t wait to go back and try it fresh.This is a small made fresh business, if traveling a far distance try to check availability. Try to give them some ease and understanding that items may not be available and hours may fluctuate.“

“A delightful breakfast, brunch, and lunch restaurant at the site of the old Pamela's restaurant. It retains the same basic layout, but with a new decor, and it feels much more upscale, spacious, and cleaner.The food is international in flavor, and is delicious. I needed to look up a few things on the menu, and I always enjoy finding new things, so that was great! The service is very good, too!“

“This is one of the best in-town taverns I’ve been to. Service was top notch, food, mind blowing food. I highly recommend the Mac-n-cheese though that is all you need, the hot sausage was incredible and the wings, shut the front door, so good. Wife said “best ever” and she loves wings. “Valley Pizza is exceptional! It took us awhile to find a pizza place that was beyond okay. This is pizza that is perfect.Valley Pizza is perfect because they offer so many different ways to specialize their pizza's to different tastes. My kids prefer the pepperoni pizza with sweeter red sauce. Their crust is made fresh and cooked to perfection.The white pizza is excellent. I love it. We order the standard white as it comes off of their menu. Tomato & spinach. Delicious.“

“My bad for forgetting that Max and Erma's are still in Monroeville. It's the last one in the Pittsburgh area. They have some good burgers, but my favorite I order every time, is the chicken Tortilla Soup. Taylor our server was excellent. definitely service with a smile while serving a party of 10.“

“Surprised by this random find, which turned out to be a hidden treasure. Our server Paul was exceptionally cordial and extremely knowledgeable about menu items, which was greatly appreciated. The humus platter was plentiful and scrumptious. But our ultimate pleasure was in the hanger steak & gouda risotto. Definitely would go back! The desert was good but not great (rasberry/lemon cake; we'll have to try a different one next time).“

“Wicked busy Friday night, the 2 bartenders were swamped, they still have a great attitude and go the job done in a timely manner. “Unfortunately this place is just built into a bar, so consider getting all your food to go and eating it somewhere more peaceful. Staff is friendly and food is mostly good; fries were delicious, but stay away from the maple chicken. It's literally just dry chicken wings drizzled in table syrup. Burger was above average for Pittsburgh; somewhere near Five Guys quality. I miss BRGR.“

“Got delivery; Mixed Chicken (spicy), Orleans Leg, French fries. French fries are what they are, I air fried them. As a Chef, I understand what I ordered, and what conditions they could be when I received them. The Orleans Chicken was severely overcooked. First glance, I thought it was a pork chop. I don't know what flavor I was supposed to accomplish. It was ok, but I would love to know how it tastes if not overcooked. The mixed chicken was cooked perfectly, and was indeed spicy. But I only tasted spiciness, not exactly seasoned. A little seasoning would take this places. All in all, not a bad order. I am willing to give the establishment another shot. They are not far of.“

“Big fan of this dive bar! Perfect place if you need quick food and a drink, and can sit at the bar. Also great to go with a group after a long bike ride on the trails! All the wraps are 10/10. Pump track wrap and rail trail are my favorite. I've had the best burgers ever here but they are not consistent. I think it depends on who is cooking because sometimes the are cooked to perfection, and other times they are dry and over done. But the toppings are always unique and good. Service is what you would expect from a dive bar, always friendly and attentive but let you be with your food and beer. Cool place.“

“I figured I’d try their Tuesday special. I ordered a small pickle pizza and got a free small. Both pizzas were sooooo good. Lots of cheese and toppings. The crust was baked light brown and was not too thick. Both pies were HOT when the arrived and I’ll order again. Honestly, these were the best pizzas I had since moving here.“

“Unassuming, but good. The valuation is actually spot on which seems rare anymore. If your on the trail or in the river it's is very much worth the trip across the tracks. Dare I say it's the best breakfast on the trail between PIT or DC. I'm going 4 stars because it's a bit of an outlier that's under reviewed and deserves a bit more attention. “Great experience!! If you are really lucky Dom will be your server. Everything was prompt, he kept our drinks full, and didn't let our food sit under a warmer to dry out.. The ribs, IMO, were the best value out of everything ordered.. they were super smoky, tender where expected, paired well with the fries (PRO TIP: ask for BBQ sauce on side)... The slaw could use some work (dry more like a salad) and the baked beans are our least favorite of everything. They had a strong taco taste.“

I was hesitant at first due to the price being $20 for a sandwich and side salad, along with the steak possibly being over cooked, but my worries were washed away after it arrived. The steak was juicy and tender and the sauce that it came with was to die for. The side salad was just ok and nothing special but the sandwich was definitely worth the price point and could definitely be split between two people or as a take home meal. The servers who brought the meal were sweet and very friendly! The bakery square City Kitchen dining area is a great place to enjoy a meal with friends and family.“

“The bar is very clean and the bartender was friendly. The side salad was crisp and tasty. The yuengling draft was good. Shots are fat. Only down side is price. Wings are very expensive, $11 for 6 and like $19 for 12. Wing quality was mediocre at best. I wasn't impressed at all. They were cooked well, however. Shots are $6.50. Come on.... draft prices were OK.“

“The guys were so friendly and professional. My food didn’t take long. I just saw that they were open and decided to give it a try.I had the shrimp n grits and it was FIRE!!!!!! The potatoes looked a bit on the dark side but they were not burnt and tasted good. It wasn’t overly seasoned. My grits tho! They were creamy with a sweet taste. The food isn't as good as some other local small business ice cream shops but the service is above average and the atmosphere and location are central to a lot of other places making this an excellent place to go for ice cream!Parking: Parking is in an adjacent lot, business is on a steep hill so turning into and out of the lot can be difficult. Parking is free and plentiful though.“

“Great daily food specials for lunch and dinner. Tasty meatloaf special is a great comfort dish. Homemade soups are really good. Good menu selection including the Turkey Bacon Club, and the Hot Roast Beef Sandwiches are my favorites . Bartenders are very friendly and accommodating. There's a small dining room separate from the smoking bar area. Clean accommodations. Nice beer selection at reasonable prices. If I'm the area stop by, you won't be disappointed.“
