“I tried the noodle bowl with beef yesterday and I loved it. I came with two friends who also loved the place. I got all the vegetables and an over-hard egg on top but I asked for no liquid. There's free miso and seaweed soup. I tried the seaweed soup and it was tasty. There's all kinds of sauces but I found everything was delicious with a little soy sauce. I will definitely come back here.“

“On a short road trip we chose this as a lunch spot, having never been. We were pleasantly surprised and really enjoyed our visit here.Decor- 10/10. Clean, open, kind of railroad themed- very well done. Would make a great event spaceFood- we only has brisket nachos but they were excellent. “Sat outside for a late lunch on the front patio with no wait, food came hot and fast. I had probably the best chicken quesadilla I've ever had and hubby's shrimp tacos were delicious. Service was amazing, we will definitely be back for dinner one night.“

“Popped in to Hard Eight for lunch. The brisket was bang on and the place had a great BBQ vibe. There are so many good bbq places to eat at in Texas it is hard to recommend one, but if you are in the area and are hankering for some good bbq, stop into Hard Eight it is worth the visit!“

“I absolutely love this place. Have been coming here for years, even when I lived in Weatherford, I would make the drive here. Staff is always friendly, and the food NEVER disappoints. “Food was amazing. Adding salt by yourself brings out the flavors. I'm glad they're conscious of those who don't eat alot of salt. They came around constantly with rolls of bread and the ability to refill drinks was dope. All in all whatever you get to eat, you will be full so come empty-stomached“

“They do catering! We actually decided to have them cater our wedding, and let me tell you it was a hit! So many of our guests complemented on how good the BBQ was and how much they enjoyed it.They provide so much for the catering including sides and drinks, cutlery, plates. It really was helpful to have so many options and know that our guests would have a variety of food and drink options from them alone. In addition they did such a good job on serving the food in a quick manner and while it was hot! So if you have an event and are considering BBQ catered, I would highly recommend trying them out!“

“Rudy's bbq is average. Meats sold by 1/8,1/3,1/4,1/2 and 1lb. Sandwiches and sides offered. I wanted fries but they sell nothing fried. Small condiment bar offering basic onions,pickles,peppers. No plates for meals. Only butcher paper. Brisket had no flavor, seasoning or smoke flavor. Ham was good. Ribs very tough. Didn't try other offerings.“

“Have tried numerous Top 10 TM bbq. I now understand why this place got the top spot. There is not a better Big 3 plate in the state. The brisket was perfect. Very light smoke flavor with a huge pop of basic seasonings with melt away texture. Turkey and ribs were awesome as well. Wait was super tolerable for a top 10 spot. got there at 830 on a Saturday and was plated by 1120. Worth a try at least once. Won't be disappointed.“

“After seeing some instagram reels about this place I decided to check it out. The drive to the place was a bit far but the food was well worth it. The firecracker shrimp and the beef were so good. It was a little bit pricy though with my 2 entrees, sides, water it came out to 24 dollars. I didn’t get a chance to check out the snow cones just because I ate too much but it was super cool to see the options. Beware though there are limited parking spots out front I got lucky with my spot but I saw many people parking on grass and the surrounding areas around so be aware of the parking situation if going at a peak time.“

“Jerry and Jambos Original BBQ Shack did such an amazing job catering our crew lunch for 75 hungry construction workers a couple weeks ago! The food was incredible, plentiful, and prepared with love! One of our guys said the peach cobbler was the best he’s had since his grandmothers many years ago he said he’s been on the hunt to find a comparable peach cobbler and was so happy to have the opportunity to enjoy Jambos peach cobbler ☺️Everything else was delicious as well! My personal favorite was the brisket ? We hope to have Jambos out again to feed our crew!! Thank you, Jerry & staff ???“
