Tried this place for the first time and it was AMAZING! My dad loved the menudo and he is picky, it was flavorful and rich. Service was good and attentive. Restaurant clean. Prices great! Love that they have a drive
The loaded Mexican burrito ?. It has rice and beans with your choice of meat, lettuce, avocado ? and queso. Very full filling. They now ask if you like to have chips and Salas, It's an extra fee. I thought it was a little odd. Most places provide it already. I've been coming to this place since 2001. Great atmosphere but the service is kinda slow. We had to call our waitress several times. As she was sitting down with a guest. Food was excellent 110%. Service was not so good.

Okay foodie travelers if you're passing through Houston around Woodridge st then stop in this corner Mexican restaurant. Over 40 years of consistent recipes passed down. You can tell because the food takes a minute to come out but it's very worth the wait. The asada or fajita quesadillas in corn is fire! The pastor is better than many places hands down. The salsa is hot but it's addicting at the same time. Heard they are known for the caldo de res so next time we're pulling up....read full review
