“Happened to be staying at the Marriott Marquis and decided to eat here since it was adjacent to the hotel. It was a great decision. It is always a plus when patio seating is available. The drinks were amazing and the food was on point. Xochi is an authentic Mexican gem! The vibe, food, and drinks are amazing. The ambiance is vibrant, the dishes are bursting with flavor, and the handcrafted cocktails are a must-try. I highly recommend this restaurant while visiting Houston and, of course, even for locals, for an unforgettable Mexican dining.“

“Came here for brunch.The ambiance of this place is hard to find in houston, quality of the dishes are top notch, and the servers are super attentative.We orders the migas, cinnamon roll and crab cakes. All were really good portions and tasted super fresh.Parking is the only hassle here but can easily be found with a few minutes of looking around.Brunch is no rezy, just waiting. We waited for 45 minutes which wasn't bad.The menu isn't super extensive but the items are all high quality so wasn't an issue“

I did not except it to be so packed but it was a saturday night. the owner sat us and was friendly. our waiter was awesome. he was personable and checked in often.the wine I chose was incredible and my bf went with a red he always gets. both great.to start we shared the artichoke salad. wow! so refreshing. the burrata with the olive oil worked so well with the veggies. I didn’t think I liked artichokes but this was great.for entrees I have the ravioli and it was not heavy, it worked so well. it was light and enjoyable. my bf had the spaghetti with clams and he liked it! I tried some and it was different but in a good way.we shared some tiramisu and my bf loved it.over all the decor was not overwhelming it worked nicely with the theme. I loved this restaurant and can’t wait to go back.“

Had beer, wine and the omakase - this is an excellent spot, the service was impeccable even at the bar.Drinks were kept flowing, the sushi and the oysters on the omakase were to DIE for. “Upscale Mexican restaurant with fantastic menu featuring various seafood, vegetables and innovative offerings of familiar favorites. We decided to share small-ish plates (they weren't that small). We had corn & shrimp empanadas, a roasted eggplant and squash dish, smoked octopus dish, a mushroom tamal wrapped in a banana leaf with mole and a blueberry mousse cake with passionfruit sorbet. Everything was unique, fresh, delicious, and beautifully presented. Food was served quickly by attentive staff. We loved it.“

“This has been my go to Vietnamese sandwich place for like 10+ years. The people are nice and super efficient. My favorite sandwich is the steamed pork/xa xiu. Think of it like thinly sliced pork belly with added Asian flavors. The bread is a buttery and crisp French baguette. This is filled with pickled veggies. Their other food offerings taste homemade. “This is my favorite place to get tacos by far! There isn't a lot of room inside the restaurant for you to sit and eat but you can eat in the car LOL. Expect long lines when you go to eat at brother's tacos. But it's only because their food is delicious!Parking: Parking is very limited and most people end up parking on the side of the street. However, the last time I was there was about a week ago. Ok my last visit I did notice a city worker putting fines on windshields of cars that were parked on the side of the curb in the street. Previously I had never seen this.“
