“We had an amazing dinner at Peter Havens! The food was delicious, perfectly prepared and presented. We had the duck and filet and both were very flavorful and tender. The desserts were also wonderful.The restaurant had a nice atmosphere and service was excellent. Thus was the best dinner of our trip and prices were very good for the quality.“

The fried fish was free of excess grease, the homemade coleslaw was second to none, and the ice cream was a flavorful, melt in your mouth delight! “It is difficult to find great breakfasts in Brattleboro, but we saw an ad in the Commons newspaper for The New England House and gave it a try.Splendid in every way! Here is a real chef who really knows what a great breakfast is. I had buttermilk pancakes with bacon which is a simple meal, but it was cooked so expertly. Great quality bacon and fluffy, flavorful pancakes. Even the locally produced maple syrup was special. Wonderful hot coffee, too.Hubs had perfect eggs, crispy hash browns, English muffin, and tasty sausage. We were both very satisfied. Great service, too.They are also open for dinner on Fridays and Saturdays which we will try soon. Thank you for being here New England house.“
