“Absolutely incredible atmosphere! I love the lodge theming, everything was so cozy. Our server was very kind and upbeat, and the food was delicious. They certainly don't skimp out on the portions! ? Got a delicious chocolate creme pie to take home, certainly hoping to come back in the future.“

“Small diner style place. I've only been here for their breakfast menu, but never disappointed. They have no trouble at all customizing your order to your liking I.e ... no tomato extra jalapeños:) Their coffee is very good brew and hardly ever empty till you're ready to tell me "done". Staff there is very friendly. Highly recommend this place for great breakfast and hot joe. Wheelchair accessible although front door could use some adjustments to lighten. “Great neighborhood hangout. Our new place to play games, catch-up with friends. We had our BUNCO GAME NIGHT there. TV's, Music. Nice, Clean & Inviting.Parking: I parked 3 blocks away at City Hall because I was going there afterwards. There is a free parking lot 1 block away plus street parking, if you want to parallel park. ? I don't. I could walk there. It's only 7 blocks from my house.“

“Beautifully newly remodeled with the art work designed about the town. I’m a Puyallup native and recently went to this location after several years. The upgrade was amazing. The service was great. The food was authentically Denny’s. (Although the chef needed more experience cooking a petite sirloin to a medium rare.) My only suggestion would be with the restrooms. Most stalls were out of service (and there aren’t many). In need of repair. Not particularly clean. Everything else was great.“

“It's been 5 years we've been meaning to come back. A year ago, we finally moved to Washington (state). It's as pleasant as we remembered. We'll add it to our regular breakfast rounds.Parking: Most of the parking is around back. It appears limited with ten or less spaces out front, but there is plenty in back.“

“Great place! Food, service and atmosphere were outstanding. I got the oyster fry, hubby got the shrimp and grits, and our guests got the crawfish mac and fried catfish plate. All were delicious and the portion sizes are huge. The hushpuppies are awesome and drinks are great at a good price. All around 10/10, will definitely be back. Travis, our server, was also a 10/10.“

“It's been several years since my last visit to HG Bistro. Overall this visit was a good one. Food was good, but keep in mind I only ordered appetizers, and the drinks were great. Service was polite, friendly, and informative, but it took an extended period of time for just about everything. Our food took about 40 minutes to arrive after we ordered, drinks took awhile, . The restaurant itself was fantastically clean, with a very laid back classy vibe.“

My husband had the chicken avocado "burger". It was not the greatest but was fine. Onion rings were fine. Loved the Carrot cake beer discovered from my beer flight. Fun place.“

“I came here after a long day at work and was treated so nicely by the hostesses and was seated immediately, i had asked for my steak medium and it came back a bit overcooked and my hostess Rebecca immediately offered to bring back another one. She had noticed that my voice was a bit raspy from a cold I was getting over and had asked if I wanted a hot cup of tea or anything. This was the nicest experience I've had, their food is amazing as well as the people they have as the face of their restaurant. I am very impressed with this service as this is my first time dining at Black Angus. I will be coming back for sure!“

“We had never been here before, despite living in the area for years and years. We arrived a little after 11 and it wasn’t busy. Our wait time was about 10 minutes for hot sandwiches and an order of soup. I had the peppermill chicken sandwich, which had a deliciously spicy sauce on it, and a side of a pasta salad. The chicken was actually entire breast of chicken- I was expecting sliced lunch meat- so that was a pleasant surprise. The pasta salad was chock full of broccoli and carrots and corn with a creamy sauce. Would definitely recommend this place.“

“I have been to many burger joints and this one is epic! The onion rings were nice and crispy. The burger was fresh and delicious. The server was excellent and attentive. “Way too pricey but the quality was good, the service was pretty good but I have a bunch of kids and they were hyper as hell (because we barely ever go out to eat because we're not selfish a-holes who don't mind ruining people's expensive dates or meals period) anyway my kids calmed down after I explained to them that they were being rude little monsters and our poor waiter who barely spoke English had no idea that I'm not a big tipper or a guilt tipper is 9 percent with me for the most part unless they just completely ruin my meal or wow me in some meaningful way. With that information in mind my kids proceeded to ask for forgiveness in their best Spanish with accents and rolled r's ( I'm raising my kids right) and hey didn't even acknowledge them, I said he probably didn't hear you try one more time when he comes back with our waters and the one large soda we all shared ? and still he ignored them,? what the H?!?!? Anyway he also brought us several bowls of the hot as F salsa before he he brought the mild stuff I originally asked for (kids bruh, come on with all that gasoline salsa) but like I said the food was good and the price was too high but I would probably bring my wild animal children here again for a 4:00/4:30 dinner.Vegetarian options: Meh, veggies and beans topped with veggies with rice and beans on the side with not veggies to dip into veggies and pour on veggies ?Kid-friendliness: They allow children to eat there.Wheelchair accessibility: It's one story all the way.“
