New American Restaurants near Puyallup, WA

“It's been several years since my last visit to HG Bistro. Overall this visit was a good one. Food was good, but keep in mind I only ordered appetizers, and the drinks were great. Service was polite, friendly, and informative, but it took an extended period of time for just about everything. Our food took about 40 minutes to arrive after we ordered, drinks took awhile, . The restaurant itself was fantastically clean, with a very laid back classy vibe.“

“Great place! Food, service and atmosphere were outstanding. I got the oyster fry, hubby got the shrimp and grits, and our guests got the crawfish mac and fried catfish plate. All were delicious and the portion sizes are huge. The hushpuppies are awesome and drinks are great at a good price. All around 10/10, will definitely be back. Travis, our server, was also a 10/10.“

“We stopped by for lunch and had a delicious meal. Southwest salad with grilled chicken was very tasty, huge portion and hot, freshly grilled chicken. Our picky kids had blackened chicken burger and French toast and chicken from breakfast menu. They loved it.Highly recommend!“

“First time here and I can see why it is a success. Fun atmosphere, very good service, and good food. I had the potato skins and Western Burger. It was delicious. My husband had the chicken avocado "burger". It was not the greatest but was fine. Onion rings were fine. Loved the Carrot cake beer discovered from my beer flight. Fun place.“

“If you pay with cash make sure you count the change give back to you!! Gave the bar tender a hundred, asked her to recount handed me a twenty? She new !!! That might fly at midnight ? but not first thing in the morning .“

“Way too pricey but the quality was good, the service was pretty good but I have a bunch of kids and they were hyper as hell (because we barely ever go out to eat because we're not selfish a-holes who don't mind ruining people's expensive dates or meals period) anyway my kids calmed down after I explained to them that they were being rude little monsters and our poor waiter who barely spoke English had no idea that I'm not a big tipper or a guilt tipper is 9 percent with me for the most part unless they just completely ruin my meal or wow me in some meaningful way. With that information in mind my kids proceeded to ask for forgiveness in their best Spanish with accents and rolled r's ( I'm raising my kids right) and hey didn't even acknowledge them, I said he probably didn't hear you try one more time when he comes back with our waters and the one large soda we all shared ? and still he ignored them,? what the H?!?!? Anyway he also brought us several bowls of the hot as F salsa before he he brought the mild stuff I originally asked for (kids bruh, come on with all that gasoline salsa) but like I said the food was good and the price was too high but I would probably bring my wild animal children here again for a 4:00/4:30 dinner.Vegetarian options: Meh, veggies and beans topped with veggies with rice and beans on the side with not veggies to dip into veggies and pour on veggies ?Kid-friendliness: They allow children to eat there.Wheelchair accessibility: It's one story all the way.“

“Food,a Food service in ambulance or just the beginning when it comes to reasons to like the powerhouse I had a burger. The beef was really tasty. I had a bacon blue cheeseburger very good. The blue cheese didn't overpower the taste of the burger nor did the bacon. I saw some delicious options on the menu for dinner, but we weren't there for that. Definitely going back.“

“So originally went to this bars sister - JP Tavern. I walked in and sat next to the bar waited -15 min to be served. Decided to leave and came to the Timeout. Knowing they were both owned by the same person… walked in was greeted as soon as I opened the door. Even though they were busy litterally got my drink in less than 5 min, thank you Melissa. Then ordered this Asian salad which I think is the best salad I’ve ever had! Thank you Jen for the recommendation!! Idk why I even tried JP”s the Timeout is the way to go. Great food. “In my opinion the best coffee around. It started with convenience and unlike Starbucks they made a standard delicious vanilla latte. But really it's all about the blended drinks. There are their specials which are all good but you can also get the coffee drinks blended & they use an ice cream base that takes it to a whole new level. Plus, you get a free bday drink which is a nice bonus. Highly recommend!“
