“Went to Wooden City (with a reservation—they are busy!). It was the BEST restaurant experience I’ve had in years. From the hostess the the many wait staff that stopped by our table to the food—all were classy, professional, and the food was delicious. The croutons in the Caesar Salad were soft and chewy (yumm!), the Fried Polenta with Vodka Sauce (chef’s kiss), and the Fancy Burger and Fries were so tasty—the burst of flavor in the burger was just outstanding. I’d go again and again! Thank you for a most wonderful dining experience!“

“So, we heard of this place as a recommendation from another coach of ours. It’s a super cute place with a great ambiance. I’m a fan of the inside, with the paintings (vibrant colors) from only one artist. That was pretty cool. The service again was fantastic and outstanding. I mean you really couldn’t do much better than this. It’s a super nice and friendly place. The food, that’s the big thing we are looking at hear. Being someone who lives in Texas, take this with a grain of salt.We had the chicken artichoke and tomatoes basil soups. Personally, probably the best soups they have. We tried the jalapeno popper and it was very spicy. The beer cheese soup tasted ungodly for us. However, not our thing. The beer bread was really odd too, but we don’t eat that typically. Overall, we tried a lot and it was a lot of fun. Love the atmosphere indeed.I would go back for soup again. I do love a good soup.“

“They have great food and our server was fantastic, with a great sense of humor. All of their omelettes are made with 6, yes SIX, eggs and your choice of hash browns or home browns and choice of toast. Alternatively, you can substitute 3 pancakes or a waffle for the toast and hash browns though. Their burgers are all 1/3 pound and come with your choice of French fries, tater tots, onion rings, soup, or salad. I went with Molly’s Favorite Omelette, without the Hollandaise sauce. So huge, I will have (at least) three more meals. My brother went with the German sausage and cheese omelette he said it was really good. My Dad, though was originally planning on getting Molly’s Mess, settled on the full-sized Chicken Fried Steak breakfast. He really enjoyed it. He was amazed at how large it was and that it came with 3 eggs. My Dad’s caregiver opted for a burger. I am so happy she did, I was curious what they would look like. She ordered their Avocado bacon burger and opted for a side of sautéed mushrooms. I wish I would’ve gotten a picture of the bun, because it was a great looking burger. I also ordered a Chicken Fried Steak breakfast to bring home. It was so large, it was packed in two large boxes and a cup of gravy. As always, there was a ton of food and nobody was able to finish any of their meals.“

“I was visiting from out of town. Came to Spokane to spend my birthday weekend with my 2 son's. Not familiar with the area, my children's mom recommended Mizuna. The service- Both my boy's are now adults, but they also have autism. This sometimes triggers others to treat them like they're children. Our waitress directly engaged with them as if they were no different than any other normal adult. As if she couldn't even tell even though it's blatantly obvious. This encouraged my oldest to look directly at her and give his order with a clear and confident voice without stuttering. He even tossed in some hand gestures to over accentuate what he was saying. To the parents of kids on the spectrum, you know how huge this is. The food- Everything we ordered was awesome. The risotto balls, oven baked chicken, cashew crusted avocado noodles. The only let down was that they were out of the crème brûlée. The key lime and bread pudding definitely made up for it though. The drinks- I love me a good classic old fashioned. It's getting harder and harder these days to find an establishment that won't destroy this drink. The bartender came through on this one. My oldest son has a thing for espresso martini's. I asked him how it was and he responded with a double thumbs up. When it was time for the second and third drink, I just asked the waitress to get me whatever drinks she favored. Again she didn't disappoint. We finally ended the night with a couple shots of a very tasty espresso. The food, the drinks, and especially the awesome waitress (I wish I could remember her name). Grabbing something to eat turned into having a nice family dinner.“

The pork green chili, chorizo chicken pasta, and the rotating raviolis are absolutely incredible, and of course their scotch eggs are a must have every time I go! And the curry mac was delicious, better than I could have expected. It is vegan, but I doubt any meat eater would be upset eating it. We are going to try to mimic it for our own dinners. So good. Also, the TLTA was bomb. Idk what was special with it but was so good. 10/10 would recommend, vegan or not.Vegetarian options: Almost all of the dishes have a vegan if not vegetarian option. The texture of the crispy chicken sandwich was excellent. Flavor wasn't as good as the TLTA, but still quite good.“

“We came for a friend’s birthday brunch, but also to watch the Zags game. They have $3 mimosas for brunch, which of course we started with a few of those. They have a few different juice flavors to choose from. Orange, pineapple, grapefruit and cranberry. The whole table ordered something different. I tried the French toast with berry purée, it was okay, it seemed dry even though it had syrup. A friend had the chicken sandwich and praised it, unfortunately I didn’t get to try that . They do have delicious sweet potato tots. And their garlic fries had an abundance of garlic which is all I look for in garlic fries.I ordered the brisket hash with a side of hollandaise sauce. It was good. There was plenty of brisket, and big chunks of it as well. I do wish that there was more seasoning, on the brisket and the overall dish. I think if the brisket itself was more juicy it would add a lot more flavor to the dish itself.Another friend ordered the Logan’s Benny. I found the price to be over priced for only one egg Benny, and it did not come with any sides of potato’s. So make sure you order a side .The place started getting really busy because of the zags game. But the whole vibe was a fun time. Our server was on top of evrything, bringing us drinks when needed. We were there for quite a while, and enjoyed our time.Overall I would say Logan’s is great for a drink and handhelds , breakfast has room for improvement. Also a fun place to watch the game.“

“Ever I started coming to this I've felt like I'm becoming more and more like myself. I just can't wait until I can get my check back from the Spokane community college and then pay my debts. Then maybe move forward in my life and the city I live in with all these other people that are living in the same city. I like this business because it's local and I support the people that I choose to let be in my circle. I see real love here, a family of people that can just be themselves and listen to the same music and act like a goof or not act like a goof. People will let people be themselves up until I think of themselves are gonna hurt themselves or someone else's. I do honestly feel like maybe I'm slowly becoming more and more like family around here in Spokane. Where as before I was being quite so open and able to trust others. I don't choose the future or a future but in a way I kinda can choose my own future. I'm not trippin. But I am trying to keep putting 2 & 2 together, hopefully you and I would get four. I think if it makes sense and we can reuse it and it helps us out on some sort of and we should totally do that especially if it helps make money then we should totally you continue to repetitive do this thing that houses that makes sense.Kid-friendliness: I'll tell you what last night I thought it was Halloween night and I like everybody at this bar was like having a good time with dancing and I was like imma go for a walk meet up with this chick. Well I'm at the chicken for and she's a friend of mine and I came back to the bar and I was like damn that's what's up. Either way I figured out it wasn't but if that gives you any idea about the kid–friendliness and that everybody was dancing last night and having a good time and I thought it was Halloween but it really was not Halloween night... Right???“

People might be disappointed that they don’t have fries as one of their sides, but I particularly love that they don’t dunk their food in fryers and everything’s is pan friend and/ or home made, healthier, and fresh while still being incredibly flavorful. Also, if there is any wait time, it’s because they are making your food fresh and good food takes time. All of their sauces/dressings are home made and the portions are always generous. “What a great solo lunch time experience I just had here! I’ve been in before, but I moved away for a while, so it’s been about 4 years. I always thought the beer selection and food quality was good, but yesterday those things combined with the service level it just hit all the marks. I sat at the bar. The bartender was friendly, knowledgeable about the beers, engaging, and personable, but without it being the over-the-top fake act you get from some people and places. Jared was chill, and helped me find what I was feeling, by asking questions and engaging in conversation. He gave me his time without rushing me, or overdoing it. After I got the beer dialed in, I ordered the banh mi lettuce wraps. He ended up getting me a better deal than expected on those and my beer with a special they had. The wraps were delicious and completely hit the spot for taste and portion size. I spent a little longer there than planned or expected and it was a lovely way to get a little work done while I got to relax and indulge. Wish I lived on the South Hill, I would definitely hit this place up more often! With the amazing, constantly-rotating beer selection, and a good sized menu with daily and what I assume are happy hour/lunch specials, you can keep it fresh every time. Highly recommend!“

“Unfortunately, with their hours stated as closing at 10 pm, arriving at 8:50 I was presented with the info that the last call for food was at 9pm. We ordered just before 9pm and had a drink, and the server came up and announced last call for drinks was at 925.... We felt like we were being rushed out, with him turning off the restaurant music before we had finished dinner. I could tell we were not wanted, so next time I will just choose somewhere else.Just so you know, when looks at restaurants in the area, most places close at 9, with this establishment closing at 10. I would expect you to get some business after 9. If you don't want that business, just close at 9 like everyone else.“

“The wait list to get in was 30 to 45 min, but the food was terrific. Quite the selection of mimosas. I had pancakes with honey- butter and a side of potato medley (potato, sweet potato, and yam wedges). My friend had the tamale waffle, and she loved it. My friend and I went again, and another great meal. Highly recommend.“

“It has been a while since I have been in but I won’t wait this long again. Three of us had fish and chips and the other had shrimp and everyone was pleased with their food. Maya was our server and probably the friendliest server we have ever had. She kept our water and sodas filled without us ever having to wait or ask. Our early lunch today set a great tone for the rest of the day. Thank you Maya and thank you Jack and Dan’s! Go Zags!“

“Chill atmosphere with a great dj that kick off songs that are both relaxing and get you to get up and boogie. Bartenders and bouncers are both chill and badass peeps that keep the place legitimate. Pool tables could use some new bumpers and felt and could use some new bar sticks as most aren't straight, but thats bar sticks for ya. But all in all, 10/5 stars from galaxies unknown. Cheers! ??Wheelchair accessibility: Entrance is level with sidewalk, inside level, no stairs. The cheese dip was delicious and the king salmon was to die for and our server was amazing, I wish I could remember his name. The drinks were amazing as well, I’m not a heavy drinker but the huckleberry lemon drop was very refreshing and tasty.“

“The BEST Bánh mì in town!! They pack them super full of veggies and meat, and the dressing they put on it is so addicting . You also gotta try the bbq short ribs, they’re popular for a reason! You can tell the crab Rangoon is homemade, and the owners are so nice! I love that they cater to so many people. One person in your party wants pho, but the other wants a burger? No worries, they got both! Don’t listen to the haters that miss the old owners; these new owners make very good quality food, and you’ll never walk away hungry!“

“The location, setting and service were great. For the price of the steak, definitely not worth it. Out of 4 steaks, 2 fliers, one Wigyu and one New York, only person with the New York likes theirs. The other three were very charred, lacked flavor and were not tender.“

Great staff and service, great prices, decent kitchen.Parking: Parking lot in rear, free street parking all along Maxwell.Kid-friendliness: Somewhat. Very rarely are there kids inside. It's very Much a bar atmosphere.“
