“Sun is shining today in Calgary, enjoying a day off with a late breakfast at Sunset Grill. Just the ladies enjoying a fresh, well prepared, delicious meal. Benny's, French Toast, Soft Eggs & herb spiced patotes. This is brunch without the big ticket and our waitress was really great, I forgot to get her name. Blonde bombshell, I mean that in the best way. Thank you Irene & Connie.“
“Stopped here for a quick breakfast. This place was awesome. Food was cooked perfect and the portion size was large. This gets 5 stars from me always. Great food… check. Large portions… check. Lots of food options… check. Good coffee… check. I will be back.“
“Brunch was absolutely delicious - such an interesting change on the usual and thoroughly enjoyed by our group! The manager and staff are to be acknowledged for a job extremely well done, they are professional, welcoming and fun! You have an amazing restaurant at South Edmonton Common!!“
“I had an okay experience at this restaurant on the eve of New Year’s. The service was exceptional, and the waitresses were friendly and cheerful. They handled the busy and noisy environment with professionalism and a sense of humor when things went wrong. The food was decent but not outstanding. The eggs were cooked perfectly, but the potatoes were bland and unevenly cooked. The ice mocachino I ordered had delicious whip cream on top, but it was not very cold, and iced means a few ice cubes floating at the top of the glass. The only downside to the atmosphere was the crying baby at the table next to us, which dampened our overall experience. I appreciated the service but didn't enjoy the food which could have been compensated with cheaper prices. I don't think I would go back unless I didn't have my car and this would be the only option since it's so close to home.Kid-friendliness: Don't go eat here expecting a quiet restaurant. It is a family atmosphere and people bring their crying babies.“
