“Food was excellent as usual! Our most recent visit, the staff were so incredibly nice and courteous. Even during their busy Saturday rush at noon! We were tended to so quickly, food came out fast and everyone was so aware of what we needed without it feeling crowded. This restaurant is a little loud during busy times but can definitely be overlooked by a great experience overall!“

“I'm not exaggerating when I say that the Lola Burger is the best burger I have ever had. Longganisa sausage patty is a brilliant idea (if you have not tried longganisa, then you simply need to do better. You owe it to yourself). Over easy egg, spicy aioli, crispy lettuce, and fresh tomato make this a perfect food.Bonus points, I ordered delivery from 25 minutes away. Burger was perfect temperature and texture. Even the cookie that came with it was STILL WARM.“
“Stopped in for a quick lunch and I was pleasantly greeted at the door by a man asking if I had been to the store before, after informing him it was my first time he gave me a full breakdown of there menu and what he recommended.I ended up getting the Lola burger ( a sausage patty and egg burger) and I got a vietnamese iced coffee. Both of these I would recommend, and as an additional bonus you get a free cookie which was a nice treat.I will definitely come back next time I'm in the area and looking for a quick bite to eat.“

“I love Phil’s. The 80s decor, the choice of three pancake syrups, the carafe of coffee. It’s easy to relax into the large booths as you start your morning.Always fast and efficient service. They have your classic seen-it-all diner waitresses which adds to the experience. This is not a gourmet experience, but rather a diner breakfast that is exceptionally consistent and filling. It’s not a wildly good value, but not outrageously expensive either. The senior citizens who frequent it understand. This spot is no fuss, get what you pay for, breakfast food.I will say I’ve never eaten a meal other than breakfast here. Maybe one day. But as long as there’s chubbies and eggs with a choice of two sides (cottage cheese and a buckwheat pancake, please) I can’t imagine going for any other meal.Dietary restrictions: Phil’s can accommodate gluten-free.Parking: Usually lots of parking lot spots.“

“I’ve come to this restaurant a few mornings now. I have no real complaints - food is good. The reason I am reviewing today is because I witnessed the manager “Anthony?” treating an employee very inappropriately. In the middle of a busy floor at a table he decided it was a good time to reprimand her. His tone of voice was evidently condescending and she eventually left in tears. I am a boss and a business owner. If my management did this I would be appalled. Nothing warrants this. If it’s THAT important then take her aside where all the patrons cannot witness this. Very inappropriate and ruined my breakfast.“

“Located within the First St Market. The food was excellent. We got several items from a few different vendors and this was our favourite. The Benedict was extremely filling and delicious. The highlight for me was the brown sugar caramelized onions. Holy moly I can’t wait to go back some time.“
