“One of the few farmers markets closer to the south side that runs all year long. There's a good mix of vendors here where you can find all sorts of things. It doesn't have the same sort of energy as the strathcona farmers market, but it's larger space so it feels more relaxed in that regard. There's a good variety of food vendors with cuisines from around the world. They happened to have live music playing here when we came on this most recent visit. If you're ever in the area or wanted to visit another one of our city's charming farmers markets, come check it out!“

“I stumbled upon this spot yesterday while searching for something new on my lunch break and boy am I glad I did. As soon as I walked in and saw their kitchen set up, I knew it was going to be delicious. It's a simple set up, nothing fancy or gimmicky because they don't need it; the proof is in the pudding. The food was amazing quality and it felt like someone made it for me from their own home. If you miss a home cooked meal, go see them. I had the BBQ sandwich and it could have been one of the best sandwiches I've ever had. Soft bread, tons of flavour, tender beef.. I think I'll be getting my lunch there often from now on.“

“You can tell these people care. Got a large turkey breast sub. Owners were awesome, quick and very efficient. From the fresh bread, fresh veggies and super clean interior…I will be back again! Debit machine had just been changed out or fixed so little delay on payment but not an issue that’s a small tech glitch! Highly recommend!!“

The tables were all dirty so I had to eat on a dirty table. The location has great potential. Just the details that can make the difference.Parking: Very rough concrete but it’s free parking..“

Best service I have been here 3 times i go specifically here when I am on this side of the city.Every time I have been here it’s the sameAtmosphere: tables were clean & floors were free of debris minus water from snow which is normal as you can tell they still mop it because it not that bad.Food: every thing seems hot & fresh and organized. Proper portions seem consistent everytime I have come in here.Service: staff seem organized and stay in positions. They are always very polite & respectful.Always one of them say hi, how are you as you walk into the store and every employee when you reach them in line they have this smile and appear happy and sincere as they talk to you. The people that own this and Quiznos head office should acknowledge the staff hear and as these ladies are probably the best customer service I have ever had. And I eat out 2 times a day normally & 7 days a week“

“So happy to have found the only Mr Sub still open in Edmonton! This has always been my favorite sub place since I was a child in the 70s and mom would take me to Mr Sub after kindergarten. Lots of childhood memories attached to this place so I will always love Mr. Sub over all the other giant sub joints. Please open up more locations in Edmonton but until then, I will treasure this one that I discovered just today and will visit it as often as possible for the tastiest, best subs in the world! ��“

“We were looking for a light, fast, and healthy dinner and after looking in various fast food places, we settled on that one. And we're glad we did. We had one of their pita pizzas (ham and pineapple) and it was excellent.....surprisinglly so, considering it's not a 'real' pizza crust. Then we had one of their small special pitas with chicken and goat cheese...and the vegetables tasted fresh, and the cheese was very nice. The chicken was okay. But it all tasted refreshing and healthy...lots of flavour. As we had never been in an Extreme Pita Restaurant before, the lone worker there patiently explained how it all worked and was very gracious....and efficient. And it was comparatively inexpensive....and it fillled us up. Definitely a chain we'd go back to when a fast food restaurant is needed!“

The staff who helped us was kind and it was a nice calm atmosphere where we felt we could take our time to enjoy our meal.Kid-friendliness: Plain Jane grilled cheese was an easy choice for a kid sandwich although the Bird was also approved by my son. It was calm which my son commented on.“
