Really enjoy the quaint little Korean restaurant. The restaurant is small with only 4-6 tables but the food is delicious. I really enjoy the short ribs and would say it's one of the better short ribs I've had at most Korean restaurants. It does get busy on the weekends so I'd prefer going on weekdays or later or early evening on weekends. Have been back several times and would definitely recommend.
No.1 Korean Rest in Calgary. We're from Vancouver as a traveler and we desire the Korean food bc of freezing weather. Asadal Jeyuk fried rice and Kimchi stew is so good. You must try it.It's really, really delicious. Here it comes in a stone pot. I ate pork rice bowl, and even the scorched rice on the bottom of the stone pot was thoroughly cooked. I've been here twice and wow their korean good is so delicious. I ordered their kimchi stew bowl, ttaekboki, and seafoodpancake. My favorite was the kimchi stew, it was deliciously spicy and cake with lots of yummy pickled sides, as well as rice. It's a cozy space and is kept clean.
