Took my bestie for dinner here this Sunday night at 4pm, dinner was fantastic, service was excellent! And atmosphere was great! It is rare for me to give 5 stars across the board, but modern steak deserves it.The atmosphere was great, not overly noisy. Our waiter Andy was a pleasure and very knowledgeable and friendly.In the way for the food, the ceaser salad. Excellent.The steak. Cooked to perfection, which I have to say is hard to find in Calgary. I've been to all 3 locations now, and I can't say enough good things about Modern Steak. I had the 14oz rib eye cooked to a PERFECT medium rare. It was absolutely the best rib eye I've ever had, and the amazing wild mushrooms on the side completely complimented the steak.Appetizers, we had wagyu Beef dumpling, crab in a jar, and shrimp bruchetta, all excellent.Thank you, Natasha, for the amazing experience at the Southport location.
