3.5-4 overall. It's a very cute spot to have brunch/breakfast and it gets very packed. Reservations recommended or get there extra early. As quaint as the garden is and the house itself, the food itself was ok and in a smaller breakfast appropriate sizing (not bad but not standout unique either). Great service overall. The washroom is very unique and classic. There is a parking lot which you find at the base of the garden as you walk up to get to the house/restaurant .
This place is such a hidden little gem in the middle of the city.The restaurant is surrounded by a beautiful garden maintained by the City of Calgary. There's quaint rock/stone walking paths to lead up to the garden.The food is homely and flavored well. The service is friendly. The interior is cozy. It's a special little lunch place

Lovely gardens and cool 1910 house, beautifully kept up. Service is great. Food is a bit 1950s-hotel style - fine but a bit dated. Breakfasts looked not that appealing tbh. Strudel was a few days old. Coffee not at modern coffeeshop standard. Needs a relaunch? Or maybe it’s designed to be fully retro and I’m missing the point. But probably won’t be back.
