Food overall was good. We enjoyed the variety of dishes and were able to try a lot of items. Portions are very small and pricey, I would recommend this place more for a snack rather than dinner. Not sure if I'll be back anytime soon as the bill was expensive and were not super
First time at Tori bar was good. The atmosphere is very quiet and traditional Japanese. Come here for a nice intimate dinner. The portions are small so I’d recommend ordering a few things if you’re sharing. I’d recommend ordering the baby potatoes as an appetizer.

Went there with my wife on a snowy day, place is small but the atmosphere is great! Service is fast and friendly. We love their drink, ordered a cocktail and sake. Food is great, especially in Calgary’s standard, would’ve been even better if it is charcoal like the yakitori in Japan. Price is reasonable, majority of the portion are great. The yuzu sorbet is a must have, we love it! Only disappointment was the scallop, let’s just say whoever prepare it has really fine...read full review
