Each time we eat here, the food is prepared differently. One time the rice may be just bland white rice, the next time spicy rice with vegetables and sometimes very dried out vegetables. The beans may be anything from pale brown to black. Also, on occasion the food has been plated beautifully, on others awash with sauce with little rice or beans. The food was authentic and very delicious! Fresh and homemade ingredients Our server was so friendly and accommodating that this is one dining experience we will return for again & again! Thank you Diana and staff for this pleasure!
I don't know how they manage to keep on top of things at the front of the house, as there is always only one (rather aloof) fellow acting as the server and the bartender, and he does do a great job of keeping on top of things. The only thing that I would suggest here as an improvement would be to expand their hot sauce collection. It is quite meager ( two choices, one of which is green habanero sauce) and could use the addition of some Tapatio or Valentina or Chohulla to the selection....read full review
