“Showed up just before a late lunch rush at 1:30pm on a friday, and the staff worked very efficiently to get everyone through. The food was great and our only disappointments were some of Subway's higher decisions to remove Caesar dressing, Swiss cheese, and one or two others from their menu. (Old favorites)Parking: 2 dedicated parking spots, in a lot shared with the inn nextdoor. Plenty of spots in all, but it likely fills at times.“

“Really nice clean interior and the service was excellent. The counter attendant was very attentive and precise and even brought our food to us. We were handed our food less than 5 minutes after ordering. The burgers were hot and fresh and the ice cream was very well made and cleanly presented. Dairy Queen has always been just okay for me, but this place felt like a revelation. Best DQ experience and food I've ever had.“

“If you’re lucky enough to be in the beautiful town of Carstairs, Alberta on a warm sunny day you are absolutely required to hit up the baron. Eat at the tables outside, take it to the park, heck take it to a bench by the cemetery if you must, just enjoy this deliciousness and thank the heavens a place like this still exists. I spent two months in Carstairs in the summer of 2020 and i swear i ate the veggie burger every day. I ate so many they started inventing an entire secret vegan menu just for me. Next thing you know they were making me vegan pizza burgers, with vegan cheese and pineapples on it. Again, i was vegan and in Carstairs for two months, as you can imagine the options were pretty sparse. They went out of their way to do something special for me and I’ll never forget that. “Walked in and got a nice lunch pizza for only $8.99. Only 10 minutes wait, made to order! ?Great service, clean restaurant, tasty pizza!Oh and now they have gluten free crust available, however no dairy free cheese… yet ?Dietary restrictions: Gluten free crust available!“

“My friend wanted a DQ ice cream cone. It was almost 8 pm. We hadn't eaten since breakfast. I was hungry. So, I ordered the full meal deal with chicken strips, fries, a rootbeer, and a small caramel sundae. The fries were exactly cooked the way I like. The drink was a bit weak, but the chicken strips were hot and JUICY. Highly unusual for fast food chicken strips.It is a 60-mile round trip to get to our nearest DQ , so I don't go very often, but I am never disappointed at this DQ. The food is always tasty, the service is good.“

“This is the carstairs Sunway I think. First north america subway I've been in since probably 2018. It was nice to have the options I remember. Price sure has gone up, but I'm told that's everywhere. I guess they don't have 5 dollar footlongs anymore...“

“Passing through. Had a teen burger root beer and onion ring. The place clean service was excellent and the servers very friendly and polite.I wasn't sure about onion rings because they can be difficult to eat while driving. These were possibly the best onion rings I have ever eaten crispy hot firm . I actually had to phone home to rave about them. Bravo. See you next trip through.“
