I have been a customer at this store since my Mom brought me with her when I was 4 or 5 years old. I am over 50 now.I haven't gone for a little while as my Mom passed away, and the memories of us standing in the store tend to bring tears and strong emotions.But I miss it and am going this week. Best bakery in the city! Have been going here for 40 yrs at least! Buns, Double baked rye is THE best....and the Bismarks and all the sweets! Yum!! And they remember you which is special in this day and age!

I’ve read some of the other reviews and am really surprised at them. I think that people should extend kindness to the people who work here. The owners’ daughter, who works long hours at another job THEN comes to help her parents at the bakery, has a direct, but not rude, personality, which I find very refreshing.
