“Dinner Review aka a search for Sunday night fancy food . I understand why so many places take Sunday and Monday off, but for folks with off set schedules - finding a nicer place to eat out can be a challenge when it's not Friday or Saturday.Often recommend here for a celebration meal. ginger came through as expected. Amazingly consistent after 17 years. We had a 6pm reservation but it was not needed. They could have taken a walk-in party easily through 8pm. Service was fast. Bar was busier than restaurant. What we had:SHAREDPomme Frites - sharable portion, came hot and crispy and stayed that way to the bottom of the cone. These are worth the trip alone. Have frites and drinks for a complete experience. (Not pictured, standard fry shape, served in a cone)Eggrolls- also very hot (I can't stand food that has obviously sat under a warmer) beware of grease that may burn, good dipping sauce, packed with meat (half a roll hiding in back of my salad)HIMFried Chicken- best dish of the night, chickpea flour is a unique coating, big chicken chunks, spicey sauce (make your lips a little poofy spicey, not eyes watering spicey). Husband would have preferred it be dark meat, but still loved it.MEBanana lemon grass soup with crab and eggplant. Yup it sounds weird. Yup it's always tasty. I got the bowl but took half home (appetizers were filling). VERY light on crab and you need to enjoy eating long strands of grass. I'm fine with both as the overall dish is well constructed.Strawberry salad- I enjoy butter lettuce but it's a softer leaf that got drowned by the dressing when mixed up. I'd get all dressing on the side next time. Nuts and strawberries were excellent. Not sure where they found ripe berries in March but yum!Dessert- matcha creme brulee. Shell has more than the classic crunch so be prepared for shards of sugar. Custard was very thick and great green tea flavor, sweet not grassy. More tasty strawberries. It's a lot for one person but I'm a trooper. Husband opted for a Spanish coffee instead which is so fantastically complex and a great dessert drink.Beverages-Cosmo- light pour great for a DD, not great as a cocktail (pictured)Vieux carre- complex new Orleans style cocktail. Get it if you like strong stuff (pictured)Pineapple shrub mocktail (not pictured). Stupid good flavor. House made shrub.Classic martini (not pictured)- served in a vintage round glass not an 80s v shape which is fun. Gin is gin. ??‍♀️“

“Despite of what others might say due to their experience at Mekong Pho in Anchorage AK. I've been going to this restaurant since it has opened. The staff knows my usual order which ranges between $40-$75 depending if I added any additional meats or noodles to my order. House fried rice with charziu and pork belly is one of my all time favorite dishes here alongside with their #16 BEEF COMBO PHO with extra noodles/meat. Out of all vietnamese/Asian restaurants, MEKONG PHO will always be #1. The atmosphere is what you expect from these American restaurants. So if you haven't tried Mekong Pho yet, make your way to Mountain View in Anchorage AK. God bless and thank you for making your meals affordable. Also the Thai Teas are made with love.“

“There's something very nostalgic about this restaurant especially since I was told that it's been here for a long time. We've tried the food just recently and every bite tastes like nostalgia— from their egg flower soup, the crunchy fries. Everything tastes absolutely amazing. And the portions are well worth the price. They prepare it extremely fast as well– ever since eating one thing, we've tried others in their menu and it all seems so good so far, we just keep coming back! Definitely underrated and I highly recommend them!“

We ordered the Shumai, pork sticks, pancit, mochico chicken, lechon and sesame balls. It was all so good, and definitely gave us the same food we get in Maui. Love it.“

“My absolutely most favorite sushi spot in town! My husband and I come here quite often. We love the coziness of this place. The chef is always friendly. He knows what we like and prepares it to perfection! Sashimi is always fresh! Also if we want to come for special occasion, like our birthdays or anniversary, and ask him to prepare something that is not even on their menu, he will do it. We once reserved a table for our anniversary, asked to get us steaks and oysters, and, oh boy, those were the best meals we have ever ate there. I highly recommend to give this place a try. A+“

“The Pork Bowl was good! Just like Anchorage Brewing Co, the portions are small for the price! $24-26 after tip for a small meal. Also it was kind of dry - needs a sauce. And it was filled with over 50% white rice. For that price, at least add more meat or other non-rice ingredients. The Pork itself was fire 10/10!!“

“GREAT SERVICE AND BEAUTIFUL VIEWS. The Anchorage airport has incredible views and this restaurant is privy to them. The food was very good but the service was excellent. Helpful with advice on the menu and explained the many different rolls. Had the OMG roll and the monster roll. Both were made in front of me and were very good. This is a great place for a quick bite between flights.“

“Like the other reviewer, easy 10/10. Started with crab rangoons, perfectly crafted with what tasted like fresh filling, served with a side of sweet chili sauce. Then bowls of beef and combo soup arrived, served on little stoves. We opted for the vermicelli noodles. Plunk those in the soup, stir as it boils and cooks, and chat with your companion(s) about goings-on. After a bit, my technique was to pull bits of meat & veggies out onto my plate to cool before eating. Eventually the fire goes out and the soup is ready to devour using a spoon. This was the time of "wow that's good"! Fun experience, healthy, and definitely delicious.“

There food is always cooked by order so you know you are getting quality .My to go favorite ? Crunch Roll, Mongolian Beef, Egg Foo Yung, Spam Musubi and Sesame Chicken .Kid-friendliness: They have a Kid Menu and that's always a good thing ! Knowing that my son doesn't have to be intimidate by the menu and the portions is still good as well .“

Navigating through their diverse menu is a breeze, ensuring that every palate finds its match. The quality of the food is exceptional, striking a perfect balance between indulgence and value. Moreover, the prices are quite reasonable, reflecting a deep commitment to providing guests with premium experiences without the premium cost. What truly sets this place apart, however, is the warmth and professionalism of the staff. “Good spot for some Pho. The location is not currently correct on google maps but it is within the general area. The cashier/ server had great customer service and was able to hold himself very well. Was a one man show with all the instore customers and Door Dash orders. I had gotten the Pho Gai and it was pretty good. Nice taste on the broth and definitely plenty to eat in there. Would recommend hitting this spot up the next chance you get.“

“I have never eaten at the establishment so i can't comment on the ambiance but we get delivery at the office from there at least twice a month from here. Food isn't amazing but I will say it is consistently decent. It's more of a middle of the board 3. But it's comfort food and their delivery service is quick! It helps the office is near their establishment so that may be helpful in the end but the driver is always so friendly so that will go a long way with me and they're very nice on the phone when we place our office order. The office is is sure to order from here again as we know it's reliable and can count on them.“

“My first time here recommended by my sister and will not be my last. The food tasted great! I got the bowl size and was able to share with my 4 year old and still have some leftovers. The combination of the teriyaki chicken, noodles, salad and rice was so tasty. The mac salad was good, a little on the dry side but still good. The blue raspberry Italian soda was very good as well. Excited to try other flavors. I also tried their shrimp tempura (not pictured) and it did not disappoint! The sauce they had on it made it even better. I'm ready to go back again to eat more amazing food they make.“
