This cafe is a well-known breakfast place in Anchorage. You can call ahead and get your name on the waiting list, which is helpful since it gets really crowded, especially on weekends. During a recent visit on a Sunday, wait times were almost 2 hours, but the food made it worth it. The crab Benedict is highly recommended and did not disappoint, with huge portions and especially delicious hashbrowns. The staff, including the hostess and server Dee, were patient and friendly, even during busy times.
Snow City Café truly lives up to its reputation as Anchorage’s top brunch spot. Reservations are highly recommended due to its popularity. Visitors often try the half-and-half Benedict, with one classic and one smoked salmon version, both of which are delicious. The sticky bun is a must — rich, gooey, and worth every bite. The lively energy, excellent service, and outstanding food make it a place not to miss. Many visitors find it love at first bite and consider it a great start to a day in Anchorage.
