This was our first time being at this location and it did not disappoint. The building was spacious with plenty of seats. They also had many more ice cream flavors than the location we normally frequent. Our experience was pleasant and I happily put a smile on my niece's face which made me happy!“
“I placed an order for my son's birthday cake. I was able to easily place the order online and was even given the option to upload a photo from my phone to customize it. The ordering process was so easy. Yesterday, when I arrived at Dairy Queen location, not only was I BLOWN AWAY at how amazing they had done on the cake, EVERY DETAIL done better than I could have imagined. But also, the staff were SO KIND! I walked out of the store with the best cake I have ever ordered for my son in 13 years, but also with a huge smile on my face. THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!“

“Great selection & variety on desserts. I paid $32.00 for 2- Waffle Sticks Nuttin but Crazy, Strawberry N Cream, S.E.C Sundae, & Galaxy Delight made to order. The waffles tasted identical to funnel cake. Really great experience and clean facilities. My only concern just provide take out container for various ice cream desserts. Definitely earned a return trip.“
“Very good tacos. Our favorite was the Asada, followed by the Pastor. The seasonings on the Asada was awesome. Didn't even need sauce or salt. The Chorizo, Campechano, and Pollo were just average. The salsas were pretty good, not a ton of depth, but not bad either. If you like a mild green salsa, their salsa verde is quite nice. The tacos are served with radishes and grilled onions. The tacos are small, but quite moist and tasty. I would typically eat 3 or 4.Their Gorditas are pretty good too. The only one I've had was the Aldilla (steak rubbed in chili). It was alright.We also tried the Chicharron Preparado, which was totally new to me. It seems like it is a Mexican snack, it kinda reminded me of a taco salad. The cueritos (picked soft pig fat) on it must be an acquired taste. It reminded me of pickled jello vinegar lol.We got the piña drink, it was nice. The desserts are quite authentic as well. We had the Ferrero Rocher ice cream with M&M's. Very fun environment too. ?“

“We came by a few times until we found it open. SO GLAD IT WAS! There's a nice seating area in the back to enjoy your sweet treats and enjoy the small town charm of Calera. I personally did not know this place was here until the past month and it's been open for two years!!! It's tucked into the other buildings and easily can miss it. BUT YOU DONT WANT TO MISS IT. We alsoLike the cone options as they have probably over a dozen different cones. My wife was happy they have a gluten free one. The young man that waited on us was very friendly and helpful.“

My daughter had a strawberry paleta with real cookie pieces and I loved my delicious Pinon paleta, which reminded me of my trips to New Mexico. Staff was also super friendly. This was my first visit but won't be my last!“
“Very clean facility. The employee (I think his name is Jake) was very polite and accommodating. While other locations seem annoyed by me using the app and rewards, he encouraged it. He overheard my little boy complaining about not having cheese on his burger, so he brought a piece out. All the staff was attentive. Soda machine had tons of fizz. Seemed like they took care of their stuff.“

“They went out of their way to make a special order for us! Azule, I believe is her name, took an order I made thru doordash. This was for a special girl’s birthday with a disability. She made sure the order was done correctly, and even helped me with substitutions via phone!The store was out or gummy worms, she helped me by adjusting them to “unicorns”. And boy was our special girl happy!! Thank you, Yogurt Mountain in Hoover for going the extra mile. “We had Frios come to my work for an employee appreciation event. The group of us coordinating the event have nothing but great things to say about this truck! They were timely, efficient, fun-spirited, and pretty affordable too (especially in comparison to other frozen dessert options in the area). Everyone at the office loved the fun flavors and thought the pops tasted great. If you're looking for a frozen treat vendor for an event, I'd recommend trying Frios out!“
