honestly surprised the rating here was so low. I am an avid visitor of beyond the wok. I come here whenever I'm in town. Classic Asian cuisine, always people in there, food comes out quick, good quality and tasty!

Great food but.....stop putting take out sushi in the same bag as hot take out. Nobody wants warm cooked sushi.

Their food is great. Both the Chinese and sushi. Normally the service is pretty good, but there is one older lady (not college age) that is the worst server ever. So clueless. From not refilling drinks, to appetizers and main course at the same time. As much as I like their food (only been twice), she is so bad that I won’t be back again. I assume she must be married to an owner or some such shenanigans the way she barked orders at the other (good) waitress. Probably will just stick to kabuki for sushi and the Asian supermarket for Chinese. Both always have exceptional service and food.

I was in the area Monday after a round of Golf at Grand National and had a taste for some general chao chicken. Food was great and good portion for the money. Also couldn't ask for a better waitress! Sadie was wonderful. A place where I felt welcomed, and at home. I look foward to visiting again next time I'm in Auburn competing on the Golfweek Tour.

Best sushi in auburn!! The gyozas & shrimp fried rice were best we’ve ever had. Our server Sadie was super attentive and had a great personality. She had tons of great recommendations. Definitely asking for her every time!
This is my favorite Asian restaurant in all of Auburn/Opelika, they hit all the points. The menu is very large and easy to understand. The staff are amazing. We were greeted, sat and had our drinks within 5 minutes of being there. They're very fast and also polite. The side salad is amazing, it's not a tiny soup bowl like other places, and they've got the perfect ginger dressing. The fried rice is done perfectly. The lo mein is the perfect consistency, not too hard but not too mushy. It was also the perfect amount of oil, I usually find lo mein either too greasy or too dry but theirs was perfect. The yum yum sushi roll is my favorite sushi from here. Dine in, take out, or delivery, this is the place! Parking: It's in downtown Auburn, parking is very hard to find.
Our first time here and we loved it. Our server Sadie was fantastic, she was very knowledgeable of the menu and made us feel very welcomed. We’ll definitely be back.

I came here on a monday night and once we were seated, we looked through our menus and were ready to order, 15-20 minutes pass by and nobody is coming to even take our drink order. Once our waitress finally took our order, our appetizer came out way after our entree’s were finished. Then it took about 15 more minutes to get the bill. Food tasted great, but overall customer service was extremely disappointing and will forget they are even serving you.
