“So my experience, this was the first time I've ever been to this place, but it will not be the last time!I was greeted outside by a guy that worked there and I'm going to go ahead and apologize to both the guy that said something to me that worked there and then also to the girl she was a bartender and both of those people were to the nicest people that have ever gotten to meet and I'm not talking about you know they're the nicest people like I know him personally, I'm saying the way that they introduce themselves in the way that they went beyond kindness for a complete stranger that they hadn't talked to for 3 minutes total, but when I pulled in I couldn't get it out of the car before he was saying hello and how was I doing... I thought he was just a patron, come to find out the guy worked there.. no I'm not saying they've got somebody stationed outside to do that but he was outside and since he was outside he was still an employee outside... You greet people when they walk in the door but if you're outside he greeted me outside I couldn't get out of the car quick enough!He asked me if I've ever been there and he said that it was an amazing place and he enjoyed it there and I mean he started talking to me and encouraging me to get things and to look around.. I was just kind of blown Away at first because I thought well maybe he was just happened to be outside and maybe he does that to everybody I don't know, but the very first impression I got was I kind of wanted to be there because I didn't feel like a guy just walking into a bar I felt like hey this is going to be a good experience!Then I got to meet the bartender, apologies for not being able to remember her name either I've never met these folks and I wasn't there you know 15 minutes so, I apologize for not knowing their name but, I was talking to them and they stopped what they were doing, stopped cleaning.. you don't normally bartenders will talk cuz they're doing other things and that's how you get stuff done however, they stopped what they were doing to walk over to me and listen to me and now what I was saying wasn't anything important or anything of value, I was just talking! however they made it a priority to listen. This was one of the greatest experience I had walking into a place that I've never walked into before seeing people I've never seen before and just automatically feeling like that's my spot.So whoever the owner is of this place, kudos to you because that was a bunch of positive in a world full of negative and I walk into bars all the time and it's not that they do anything wrong but you just you're another customer, not here, not here definitely! Because at this place, the hangar bar and grill, you're more than a number you're more than a customer you're more than money, here you walk in maybe feeling one way but I can guarantee you how you'll feel when you walk out. This was the greatest experience I had walking into a place I've never been to seeing people I've never seen and feeling like a million bucks when I left 15 minutes later, these people got it right and to whoever owns this, job well done dude these two people that were in there that night and they'll know who they are but, there's nothing more I can say because there's no other words I've got to describe it, great experience great job you are the best and I will be back!!!Parking: It's a big enough parking lot that if you're ready to get to the bar, they'll have a spot waiting on you!Wheelchair accessibility: It's all one level so you're good to go bring your wheels and I'm sure you'll get written a ticket for rolling In too fast“
“DJ Phase II was EVERYTHING!!!!!! It was not a big crowd on our last night in Birmingham but the DJ was so good we couldn't leave. The drinks were good also. The only down fall was that the bartender prices kept changing evertime we ordered a drink. Other than that this place is a great for a mature crowd Nd great music.“
“Probably the best chicken and okra I have ever had. Chicken fried to perfection not greasy nor salty. Perfectly seasoned and fries! The okra taste like sour cream and onion seasoning...absolutely amazing! This is a must try if you are in Bham! I come here all the time when I'm home!!!!“
“WOW!!!! I can't believe how many years this has been open. I waitress here in 1996. Found out that I was pregnant with my daughter and couldn't work much longer. I loved this place. I worked as a graphic designer during the day and a waitress at night.“

“Our new local favorite. We have always talked about visiting it but didn't know if it was one of those places where you'd feel awkward not being a regular. We were dead wrong. Service is fantastic. The food is fantastic. The people we've interacted with are friendly and you can tell why people come back regularly. A nice outdoor seating area. Activities most nights. It does allow smoking indoors, depending on who you ask that's good or bad. Great drink selections of draft, cans/bottles and the bartenders are all extremely capable to mix up any drink or shot you'd like!“
“Great Find!! We were visiting the Vape store next door and asked the person how the food was next door ..he said great!! Great it was, wife and i shared the QB club. Drinks are reasonably priced and Tiffany did a great job of attending to us. Too bad we will not be in the area to visit again?“

“I was trying to show my buddy's kid a good time but they wouldn't let us come in. We went to the 604 bar, they lit kids in there, no matter how young they are. I taught little Brandon how to do some tricks that got me. Lots of free drinks.“
“My stack fajita was tough and when. I told waiter he didn't bring fresh rice and beans, I got shrimp he didn't have a pleasant demeanor. Also I asked for a takeout bag at the pay out counter, the female ignored me twice the the time to.get a bag for take out?, not a pleasant dining experience?“
“The food, service, and drinks here were amazing. Our server Amy was very outgoing and an excellent waitress. Everyone that we interacted with was pleasant and cheerful. The atmosphere is laid back and relaxed. The drinks from the bar were well done, delicious, and prompt. The food was very good as well. No to go boxes for us. We ate every bite!“
