Great food. Terrible and slow service. Management didn't seem to care.
We haven't had a Davenport pizza in years and we were really looking forward to it. But, unfortunately the pizza was burnt and not very tasty. Very disappointed! We picked it up from the vestavia location.
Great Pizza. Great Beer. You can even get a cocktail here! Great Service. I have been going here since the mid sixties.

The Cauliflower meat lovers pizza is yummy, hot, fresh, not greasy or heavy, and enough for three adults. Prices are fair, and timing for pickup is prompt. The waitress was pleasant. The pizzas are not a ton of bread with a bit of toppings but a perfectly thick crust with abundant toppings, so much that bacon on a pizza was almost too much. Davenport's Pizza Palace is hard to set apart in the pizza industry, but it does. It is the best pizza anywhere, better than NYC, Chicago, Dallas, and Boston.
