This place has great food, and a definite hole in the wall vibe. Very much feels like a place that caters to its community.They're open really late, and serve food late too. It helps to know a little Spanish because the menus don't explain every item, but you don't *have* to. Overall, great spot for authentic Mexican that doesn't feel like a tourist trap.
I came around 4 pm on a Saturday and the place was basically empty.i got the Pollo Ranchero and it was delish. The veggies were tender and warm and the chicken was well seasoned. The refried beans were creamy and beany. The rice was fresh and flavorful. I will definitely be coming back.

Authentic, authentic, authentic ! I haven't visited this restaurant in over a decade but the experience was just as great as the first experience that I've had.
