Finally a Mexican pastry store I have been searching for since I moved to Alabama from California. Great food and service even if you don't speak Spanish the customer service is great. I recommend 100 %
I love La Conchita bakery. They don't speak English but if you use Google Translate there are no issues. You walk in, grab a tray and tongs, and then choose whichever pastries you'd like from the cases... once you've got them all picked out, take your tray up to pay. They have good prices.I have only been twice and each time I got things that were hit and miss. Some are really good! The creme filling is delicious! Some of the items I got were hard and dry. Really cheap baked goods and so many candy and snack options. You don't really need to talk to get your food for the customers who dont speak Spanish but use Googletranslatefor good measure. You can pick out the baked goods you want by yourself with the platter and tongs that are at the front then you pay at the counter in the back.
