Knowing the controversy about this place, I had to come check it out for myself. All I can say is that it truly was a 5 star experience. Truly the best sorbet I have had in a long long time (and huge portions, you can easily share 6oz between two adults). The espresso was phenomenal as well. The bathroom was the cleanest public restroom I have ever been in.If you are vegan/dairy free, they have oatmilk (oatly) for coffee, and several flavors of fruit sorbet. Good gelato, I had visit in many occasion the original place on the Vatican and the one on the Trastevere. The flavors and quality are the same. The only issue is that is hard to find the first time. And parking can be and issue because is not close to the place.

This gelateria does not seem to have old bridges, though it does have some newer walkways and a new wood lodge. Other interesting quirks would probably have made a better name. I also would like to see and hear more Italian music, art, dance, literature, and religion.
