“We enjoyed a family lunch outing at noon. The parking lot was clean, the entrance was free of debris and no leaves or brush on walk way.We were greeted promptly on entering the restaurant.Our server was very pleasant and helpful. Patient and professional. The soda order could not be fulfilled due to outage, but we were offered comparable substitutes.Everything was nice.Thanks Tina, you made our lunch enjoyable, and have a keen sense of humor. “The week night date destination. Exotic flovors, beautiful plating, super fast service, combined with fast casual makes this the perfect week night date destination. When you have kids and maybe only 30 minutes to an hour to spare for a date, everything about Mr.West makes it perfect.“

“First of all, this is a really cool place. I really love the vibe. Lots of cool merch, and then really good food too. The food was great, everyone was working hard to get you your food, and the atmosphere is really good too. Friendly. It is loud, but not in a bad way. The area is actually really nice and there's a nice parking lot right across from the restaurant. Downside: they are kinda slow. This looks like it should be fast food, but it's not. I came right after they opened, and there was maybe 5-6 people in front of me, and it took a good 20 minutes for them to take my order. About 10 to get the order. I don't know if that was bc they just opened up maybe? Wasn't a big deal. Other thing is: this isn't cheap. Most of the burgers and sandwiches are $15 or more. (There's a couple of items that are cheaper, but they aren't what I went for - I went for their burger). Comes with fries, but does not come with a drink. Drinks are all $4.99 and up. So, for a burger, fries, and some sort of fancy lemonade, it was right at $26. Pretty high. I really liked it though. I'll probably go again, and just get the sandwich and fries - because you can't find vegan stuff almost anywhere in Bham, and this is good stuff as long as you're not broke or in a big hurry.“

“This is only the second time I have been in this restaurant but that was before COVID hit. It still has a friendly staff, good food, and a great dive bar atmosphere. There is an upstairs bar which is covered and if I had known that I would have sat upstairs. There is an upcharge for fries, which I was surprised as I thought it only pertained to the sweet potato fries. I will definitely be back to try a different burger and some of the great beers on tap and in the cooler.“

And I gave them a 4 for atmosphere because there were only 5 customers including us there at 230p so I couldn't really tell how it would normally be when it was busy... Overall I will definitely be backParking: There is not a drive thru so you have to park somewhere. Well, there is not much room around store for parking and NO BiG vehicle will fit in the parking lot next to location downtown. The parking shared by everyone around location only has about 30 spots and then there are another 20 spots on street, some free and some with meter. There are 7-10 food choices in block for dining so it can be tiredsome to find parking but going during off peak times would help..“

“Always great food and customer service Travis has been doing his thing now his son is doing the exact same thing came all the way from Houston, TX to get his food and still great as usual but I will say this they need to remember the regular customers and keep certain things they way they are because that's what regular customers know them for. Put them bell peppers back on y'all stuff cause when I lived here years ago that's how it was but the son told me recently that a lot of people don't like them i said to him well I had been coming to this truck 20+ years and I know hundreds of people that prefer the old way better even if it's on the side I'm okay with that so upon request you can just cook it with mine and I'm good. “We ordered take-out at the bar on our first-ever visit to Marty's. Authentic dive bar atmosphere, friendly bartender, accommodations in the front for families, and a 21 and over area beyond the bar with games and a couple of pool tables.Food: I loved my BLT. It was on the small side, but a decent amount of B, and plenty of L & T to keep it fresh. My cohorts both ordered the Breakfast Burger. Expecting the egg to be runny like the photos we saw, and thinking the maple glaze would only be on the patty, they were not-so-pleasantly surprised when their eggs were very well done, and the burger bun was saturated in maple syrup. It had a McGriddle taste to it, but with a hamburger patty instead of a spicier sausage. The homemade chips didn't travel well in a to-go container (2 miles away), but the tots were perfectly cooked and salted. The fries were alright, but nothing like the tots.“

“I went to Heroes for brunch on Sunday and it was great! I ordered the loaded hashbrowns with the chicken sausage, a chocolate doughnut, and an iced vanilla latte. It was a bit on the expensive side, but I really enjoyed the food and the coffee! I definitely think the hashbrowns were with the price because of how filling it was, and the doughnut was a nice added treat. The workers here are always super kind (though I wish they'd fix their BlazerBucks machine since it's always out of service) and the dining area is nice and atmospheric. It's in a very pretty spot by Railroad Park, so the view is pretty as well! As for COVID-19 precautions and sustainability, I saw how frequently the workers cleaned the inside and it seems to be well-maintained. Masking or social distancing procedures don't seem to be in place from what I can tell. If you dine-in, there seems to be very little waste, though I would assume plastic containers and utensils are used for take-out. Overall, I had a really great experience and I think this location is like a hidden gem!“

“I took a group of 10 women to your establishment last night for a treat and we weren’t disappointed! The service was friendly and patient with our big order and the food was delicious! We especially loved the jalapeño steak burger and the custard was delicious! We will most definitely come again.“

“I got the big hot ham and cheese sandwich. It was big! It was hot! The cheese was melted! The bun was stained or grilled and was hot also. I love the big hot ham and cheese at Hardee's. The one today at the store on Decatur Highway in Fultondale Alabama was a wonderful sandwich. James was my cashier at the drive-thru and he was a very nice and literate young man. I was proud to see a young man of his stature working at the store. The store is not in our normal area but in the future when we are in Fultondale we will stop by and see this store again. “I've been driving past this place for months and thought I needed to try it. Today was the day, Chili Cheese dogs for me and Slaw dogs for a co-worker. “I had a great evening in the Pizitz Food Hall. I decided to try out this place and the employees were very nice. They allowed me to patiently take my time to choose the topping I wanted. The employees made great suggestions on what I should try for the first time. I ate a hot dog and it was so delicious! It came out fresh and was so full of flavor. I recommend to try their hotdogs with grilled onions and their chipotle sauce! The atmosphere of the workers were unforgettable! Thank you all for being so supportive and generous to me!“

“If you are looking for fast service with a smile, Milo's is the place to go, especially in this area. Other fast food restaurants in the Irondale/Bham area often offer terrible service, including forgotten and incorrect orders, long lines, and even managers yelling at employees. Whenever I visit Milo's, it is a great experience!! The cashiers are always pleasant, and our order is correct. My favorite meal is the toasted cheese sandwich with pickles, onions, and Milo's sauce, fries, and a Coke Zero.“

“This taco-bar is the best restaurant I've ever eaten at. It might be in a trailer behind jet pep on 1st Ave north. But the service is fantastic. The people are fantastic. The food is awesome. I'm serious. Plus the prices are reasonable. Very reasonable.“

“Super clean, friendly place! Possibly the best donuts I've ever had! The pistachio donuts were spectacular! Everything is made from scratch. The super minis were perfectly cooked and had just the right amount of honey drizzled over them. I had a sausage kolache, which was perfect. My buddy had the AG Power Plate, which was wonderfully presented with sliced tomatoes and avacado with a tasty fresh sauce. Can't wait to come back!“

“Nice place to grab some lunch and sit outside with a group! The service was great, prompt, refilled drinks without being asked and even took a group pic for us- I always am grateful for that! I ordered a southwestern roll and was offered healthy side alternatives. It was delicious but not any hint of southwestern. My hubby had the buffalo chicken wrap and really that.“

“Sol's Hog Dogs is a staple. I don't know their historical background BUT they really have been around forever!! The location in Norwood is what I remember growing up. I had been trying to get my hands on some Sol's since before Easter. Unfortunately, they don't answer their phones. So annoying! The day I visited for lunch, it was packed. I placed my order at the counter and they call out your order when it's ready. This could cause some confusion. What if multiple people ordered the same thing?! I had no issue with my order but there's definitely a more effective way...... My 2 hotdogs (well done) all the way were fantastic!!. Fries were just okay. Skinny and borderline greasy. I still ate them all up! lol Next time I will dine in instead of eating in the car. Highly recommend. You are certain to take in the rich history they have created within the walls of Sol's hotdogs!“

“I saw some reviews that made me cautious, but we went after an event at the BJCC, and the service was amazing. The worker was so sweet, and it didn't take too long for our food to come out. They brought it to us, and the portion size was amazing; the chicken tenders were huge, as were the fries and onion rings. And the food tasted amazing—it was really good!“

“I stopped at Dawsons hooing to get homemade ice cream. Howeverthe ice cream palor portion was closed down. That didn't stop me from checking out this hole in the wall (my kinda place). “The Frozen Rooster truck came to our apartment complex tonight! We came right at the end of service and they said they were done, but kindly offered to make us whatever we wanted. We got the boneless wings with fries and 2 pc catfish with cheese fries! Food was so fresh and delicious. Can’t wait to have it again!“

“Sundays at Ferus are Fundays. This was my first visit to Ferus. My son, who works in Avondale, suggested it. Their outside area was really nice, plenty of seating and a stage with live music on Sundays. They also serve a Sunday brunch. I ordered the Avondale Breakfast Plate. It came with a biscuit, bacon a choice of eggs and side choice of either fruit, garlic herb potatoes which they were out of or cheese grits. The food was good, but being a busy Sunday, we had to wait a while for it.“

“The food is always cooked to desired order. The staff are super friendly and fast. I live 15 minutes away and order online. When I arrive, my food is ready. I'm allowed to check to make sure it's how I've requested. I pass at least 5 chicken joints before I get to this place. That should tell you everything.“

“UPDATE!!Soooo figured I'd try J Wings new Centerpoint location tonight and guess what everything is going in the trash. Idk what was going on tonight with who they had cooking back there but this makes me never want to go back ever.Cheese Fries: the cheese has a weird sour taste to it as if the cheese has turned.The burger was supposed to be a bacon cheese burger but they put this scrawny shriveled up piece of burnt bacon on it. Literally just 1 piece. On top of that the burger was EXTREMELY salty. After 1 bite I put it down.The wings are mild wings unfortunately it looks like they do a Ketchup base sauce because you can smell the Ketchup all over them which I'm not a fan of but I typically eat them anyways HOWEVER once again the wings were EXTREMELY salty.Whoever they have in the kitchen tonight was heavy handed and I hate I wasted money on food that can't be eaten and is now in the trash. Honestly just want my money back.1/10Update on J Wings: The owner saw the review I posted 2 days ago and personally reached out to me to try and fix what happened. Originally I just wanted a refund but he offered to fix the food again his self so I took him up on that offer instead.Before all that though we had a pretty interesting conversation about his businesses and everything he's been dealing with and all with employees and things of that nature. It was pretty much what I had said in my last review it was that whoever was back there cooking was just not his not and needed a bit more training. I won't go over everything that was talked about but long story short this owner earned my respect because he didn't have to do that. He didn't have to offer a refund, he didn't have to offer the food to be redone (especially cooking it himself), he didn't even have to talk to me and he did.Now as for the food this is how my order should have been and how all the food should go out.The cheese fries were very good the cheese tasted just fine like it should. Didn't have the sour taste like it had originally. Fries were crispy and well seasoned.My wings were well seasoned and tasted really good I got the honey hot wings this time and they were bangers!And the burger actually had bacon on it this time and was perfectly seasoned it was just so good. I devoured that thing when I got home lol.As you can see in the picture there are bites already taken out of it because I tried the food before I left in front of the owner (he insisted lol). I am glad I got to meet Jay himself and speak with him I hope everything we talked about happens and gets in order for him so that way his staff knows to put out what was given to me. I will definitely be back to try them again and hopefully get another great experience like this one!Side note: I also had my buddy Rashad Caldwell with me he's our resident wing connoisseur and he absolutely loved the wings and cheese fries. I made sure I had someone there as a second opinion.“
