South Bar opened right across the alley from Southwood Kitchen. It has a typical bar feel complete with a pool table, juke box, televisions, tables and a massive bar. What sets this bar apart from the other area "bars" is that it is owned by Southwood Kitchen and serves their menu. When you can't get a table or a seat at the bar at Southwood Kitchen, mosey on over to Southbar and end enjoy the same menu after 5pm and a terrific wine, beer and cocktail selection. Tonight we had BBQ shrimp, Chile Rellenos, and Crab and Artichoke dip....and those were just appetizers!!! Fish is always right off the boat and amazingly delicious...have NEVER had a bad experience here...not to mention the service! Our "go-to" every time!!!
