“This is the sushi lunch special. 4 pieces of nigiri with choice of California roll or spicy tuna roll. (I added crab salad to the spicy tuna roll. ) Comes with miso soup and salad. I thought the salad would be a salad made from lettuce carrots cucumber and ginger dressing. Instead I received the cucumber salad marinated in I believe rice vinegar and sesame oil topped with sesame seeds. Had I known I would have asked for something different being that I’m allergic to sesame. The sushi roll was good. I enjoyed the nigiri except for the krab stick. I would order again but with substitutions if allowed.
This is the only actual sushi lunch special, the other two menu options for “sushi” are strictly sashimi or sashimi and nigiri.”

“This restaurant has gone down hill. It’s so scruffy, shabby and everything is worn out. Your feet stick to the floors in the bathroom. The carpet is dirty. The food has used to be delicious but the last two times the food is unrecognizable from a few months ago. Dry fish, dry coleslaw, fish and chips fry. Baked potato hard. It’s such a shame”

“We had a party of 7 for my daughter's birthday at ~6pm on a Sunday and we were immediately seated. It was a great experience & our chef was the best at cracking some jokes while slinging those utensils. I've been to a couple of other places similar to this up near Chicago and Mikata fairs well comparatively speaking.
Of course for dinner and a show expect to pay a premium but it is nice for special occasions. I do think the place could use some ambiance updates & care of the aquarium too (Word to Mikata) plecostomus/aka Suckermouth catfish eat algae.”

I’ve followed them through all their location changes, and the quality and service have remained consistently excellent. It’s always my first choice for lunch meetings, business get-togethers, or a relaxing catch-up with friends. The restaurant and the team behind it are such a blessing to our community”

“This is the coolest coffee shop and we always stop here on our way to Panama City from Atlanta. Lots of seating and a cool loft with art and gifts. Coffee, tea and wine options as well as some desserts and handhelds. We wish we liked the roast of their primary coffee a bit better but overall a great stop in a geography otherwise barren of good specialty coffee. Highly recommend.”

I’ve loved it every time and have no complaints at all (other than maybe preference with how they do shrimp, not my favorite). We’ve eaten here multiple times a month for about 4 months now, and I’ve yet to experience anything negative. Granted, I haven’t tried any of the curry or shrimp. My boyfriend doesn’t love the way they do their shrimp, but says the sushi is really good.”

I just had the All-star breakfast at Waffle House and it put a big smile on my face and made my belly very happy. Eggs, bacon and waffle cooked exactly as I requested and truss me, I’m picky just ask my wife. I added grits and they were good too. Jamie was my server and she very very pleasant and had no problem filling my coffee cup at least 10 times. Yep, they have great coffee. If I were dying and this was my last breakfast I would be fully satisfied and ready to meet my maker, so if your looking for a good place for a good old fashioned breakfast definitely pay them a visit and take of your server. These are tough times for everyone.”

Freeze them until you need them. I have vacuum sealed a couple loaves of bread instead of freezing and it's worked pretty good for arresting the aging process”

Beyond the delicious cookies, the service is wonderfully friendly and the prices are surprisingly reasonable. In a mall that's seen better days, Great American Cookies and the neighboring pretzel shop are bright spots, offering a sweet escape and a reminder that sometimes hidden gems are worth seeking out.

“As a former Subway employee, I can honestly say this is the only Subway I will eat at. I know firsthand how difficult it can be to keep a restaurant clean, stocked, and running smoothly during busy rushes, and this location consistently does an amazing job. Even when I travel out of town to Ozark, I make sure to stop here first and grab food to take with me because I trust the quality that much.

The staff is always friendly, courteous, and hardworking. Every time I come in, they seem busy, which says a lot about how popular this location is, but they still take the time to treat customers with respect and keep the line moving. The manager is also a genuinely nice fellow who clearly cares about both the employees and the customers. You can tell this store is well-run and takes pride in what they do.

If you want fresh food, great service, and a Subway location that actually maintains high standards, this is the place to go.”

They were also out of cucumbers but that no big deal. “Tonight we had our only bad experience ever at Marcos on East Main Street in Dothan, AL. Our pizza was not made correctly and we did not know until we got home. We have to drive 30 miles round trip to pickup pizza. One of our guests began to eat the wrong pizza we brought home. My husband called Marcos and explained the situation. We were told they are new employees and new manager. We were also told to bring the pizza back to let them see it. My husband took a picture of the pizza and it is obvious it was not the pizza we ordered. We expected to be told they would make it up to us on our next trip. We were not. This is the first time we’ve been disappointed since the store opened. Customer service should be better when they make a pizza incorrectly. Otherwise I would recommend this Marco’s.”

“You shouldn’t work in food service if you don’t have the personality of a people person. This young lady gave the impression that was the last place she wanted to be and didn’t have a problem letting the customers know this. Thankfully the other server was just the opposite. She was very pleasant. Apologized more than once for her coworker. We were a group of 10. She cleaned off two tables and a section of the bar. None of these were in her section. They belonged to the personality of a rock server. Over the course the hour and a half we were there the nice pleasant lady was all over the place all the while personally of a rock would just stand around with her nose in her phone, looking up only to roll her eyes at what was going on around her. The one time we watched her actually do some work, she did not bother to wash her hands went from being on phone, whipped her nose with her hand and immediately started handling/ preparing the food. The nice pleasant lady’s name is Shasta. Lots of cudos to her. She did an awesome job. Kenna the one with the personality of a rock and not good hygiene for being around food.”

“We highly recommend, the Red Elephant Pizza & Grill. It's one of our favorite restaurants. Allan usually gets the elephant burger but tonight decided to try their pizza. He got half Santa Fe Chicken pizza and half meat lovers and both were absolutely delicious. The best he's ever had! Their menu is pretty extensive, with several different appetizers, salads, pastas, pizzas, sandwiches, rice bowls and even some low carb dishes. Their servers are very attentive and work with you on getting your meal just the way you like it. Great atmosphere, too. Our favorite server is Travis. He's the absolute best!”

Lots of available parking here, clean exterior, and nice local-flavored interior. Definitely a restaurant in Alabama with the Auburn/Alabama rivalry showing in the murals on the inside.
The cashier and server were all smiles through our visit. Very friendly.
I ordered the 1/4 dark meat chicken with baked beans and fries while my wife ordered the pulled pork combo. My chicken was good. Baked beans were great. The pulled pork is way too chopped for our taste. Too much fat and bone pieces throughout.
I'm sure we will be back to try the other meats available. Nice place, just ordered the wrong thing for our taste.”

“I have normally had good experiences at this location. However, yesterday I ordered two biscuits. They told me to pull over and park. There was no one in line. When I parked I noticed several others were waiting too. I was in a hurry, taking my son to swim lessons. We asked the car next to us how long they have been waiting. I was out of time at this point. They said they have had time to go walk there dog and said about another 10 minutes. I did not even have time to try and see about a refund or inquire about my food. I just left. First time in my life I have paid money to sit in a parking place, waste my time then leave with nothing. What a joke. worst service I have ever experienced.
