Sam Mckelvey Jr. & his son (the real CEO) are super friendly! He went above & beyond to come out from behind the counter for 1 on 1 customer service & advice. Most of the seafood is fresh-caught locally. The peel & eat shrimp we've been craving were steamed & seasoned perfectly! We'll be repeat customers every time we visit Fairhope. Thank you!
Lartigue Seafood has great variety of fresh fish. The personnel is knowledgeable about the food and extremely friendly. Located inside Piggly Wiggly in Fairhope right on 98. Lots of convenient parking.

Tried out Lartigue's flash frozen red shrimp inside Piggly Wiggly. Company was coming in, so it was shrimp time. I didn't have time to drive all over Baldwin County searching for Royal Reds, my shrimp of choice. So I tried Lartigue's in The Pig. The salesperson showed me what they had in stock, red shrimp that were firmer than the Royal Reds, but just as sweet. Everything was just as he said and my guests were impressed with the Gulf Shrimp.
