“One of my favorite places to eat in fairhope hands down. Always an amazing experience. Great food and atmosphere. Can’t say enough good things about the staff. Always so helpful and informative about anything on the menu. Chef Sean is truly incredible.“
“Tried out Lartigue's flash frozen red shrimp inside Piggly Wiggly. Company was coming in, so it was shrimp time. I didn't have time to drive all over Baldwin County searching for Royal Reds, my shrimp of choice. So I tried Lartigue's in The Pig. The salesperson showed me what they had in stock, red shrimp that were firmer than the Royal Reds, but just as sweet. Everything was just as he said and my guests were impressed with the Gulf Shrimp.“
“One of the best places to eat on the Eastern Shore. We stop in about monthly, and typically sit at the bar, or out on the deck.Never had an issue, service is always on point, people are friendly, food is outstanding.Keep on keeping on! Love you guys and gals!“
“I am a recurring customer of Mandina’s. So, I wanted to give a few of my must-eats!Appetizer: Fried Ravioli or Gumbo10/10 so good!!!!(I dip my bread into the Gumbo and it’s probably my favorite thing ever.)Entree: Veal Marsala or the Filet Mignon!I also order some Alfredo at the table to go with it. I like the mix!Dessert: White Chocolate Bread PuddingIf you knew me (not that you will), you would know that our family is full of SUCKERS for bread pudding and we love this one!I’ve been going to Mandina’s since the opening! And I stop by anytime I’m in the area. I love the staff and the atmosphere! Also, there is a LOT of parking so this restaurant is easy to park at and you don’t have to walk too far!“
“If ur around the area I recommen this place the food was great and the service was great we got the fried shrimp and they were fresh and hot not no farm raised shrimp also if in the Spanish Fort area go by the davids catfish house and enjoy a great atmosphere like home cooked “
“The close up pic of the grits (fried to perfection) shows some of the smoked gouda cheese inside. Additionally, the shrimp were cooked perfectly — plump and juicy — while accompanied by a delightfully rich sauce and plenty of crawfish tail meat. Just enough spicy heat to leave the mouth tingly! ?Seldom do I comment on bread, but the crispy cracker crust and moist interior was ridiculously delicious with a little bit of butter! Got several desserts to go: a cupcake-size carrot cake, similarly minimalist cheesecake, and a peanut butter/chocolate mousse — all good and assembled with great attention to detail and all with fresh fruit, edible flowers, and/or sprigs of spearmint.Eric was very attentive and knowledgeable: plus he was eager to share his own personal menu favorites. Great location away from the “big city” of Fairhope — though inside the facility, future investment in some more sophisticated and effective interior lighting would be welcome (as would be a few “happy hour” options for earlybirds like us). Might also gently suggest tidying up the grounds with a good powerwashing for both the outdoor seating and entry areas — removal of multiple, unused wooden pallets and debris notwithstanding.Take home: first visit, looking forward to the next! ?Parking: Ample parking, though without direction arrows (or fresh paint on existing arrows), we drove in on the wrong side and had to maneuver around to get properly oriented. Slightly awkward.?“
