“Everything is certainly homemade from the pot of beans to vegetables and a variety of meat, desserts and breads. It us buffet style! Loved the catfish, red potatoes and coconut cake!!! My friend loved the pork, potatoes & gravy and wholemade ice cream!!“
“This location was just as good as the Franklin, TN one! This location is attached to other buildings (in a downtown location). So be mindful that there is only street parking. The bathrooms are through a door which takes you to the next door hotel. They are single stalled, so be mindful if there is a line of people. Other than that, the food and service were wonderful!“
“With my daughter having attended UNA my wife and I have eaten here many times. My daughter recently graduated and we had her celebration lunch here, we had a large group about 12, we seated right away and were served right away. Food and service were excellent and everyone had drinks refills with out asking. A great place for the family.“

“I did indeed go back and tried the ribs this time. Killer good!! They are somewhat reminiscent of the ribs at the world famous Rendezvous in Memphis with a dry rub style, but better! They don't even need sauce, although their sauce is very good too. Solid potato salad also. No, I'm not related to Mr Mitchell and he's not asking me to give good reviews - I'm just happy to tell the world when I find outstanding food. My only regret is that I don't live here and can't eat it more often.“
“It was really good. I would definitely eat here again. I would also HIGHLY recommend getting the macaroni and cheese. The fried pickles were yummy too, but take note...theres a kick to them. I think its the actual pickle thats causing it. I am a total wuss when it comes to spicy heat. Ranch dressing helped a lot. Im also a ranch dressing snob...this was exceptional!“

Staff was attentive, sweet, and friendly. And the food? Pancakes are huge, eggs were perfect, hash browns were tasty, the gravy was fabulous and the biscuits? They were buttery, flaky, and delicious! “Their loaded potatoes are a two meal eating because they are monsters and oodles of generous toppings. Chicken or pork or beef to choose from. I have tried all three and find the pork is my number one and I do choose the others for a variety.“
“I ordered the beef tips over rice, and was well pleased. Good serving size and tasted great. The cole slaw was good as well. The next time, I'll order the cornbread instead of the roll, as it was a little stale. Also the string beans tasted like they weren't seasoned at all.“
