“My wife and children and I go to Livingston every Sunday morning for church and on our way home a few weeks ago due to roadwork on the interstate we took the Fosters exit to go around it and we passed this restaurant and thought we should give that a try but we never seemed to have time but today we were able to stop and eat and let me just say I was completely blown away with how fantastic the food was. If you are around Fosters just do yourself a favor and drop in, the fried catfish was amazing and the mac and cheese was just out of this world. The atmosphere was so down home and the people running the place went above and beyond for the customers. 11 out of 10.“

“Today was my first time at veganish and it definitely won’t be my last. I asked the owner for recommendations and she suggested the salmon burgers. They were absolutely delicious as well as the street corn! I had to join a conference call before I could tell her how amazing everything was but I will definitely be back. 5 stars across the board!“

“Never been there before today. Just got home and I have to say, that was the best mocha that I have ever had. The service was friendly and helpful, the atmosphere was pleasant, the smell was amazing. It was a bit hard to find initially because I came from the wrong direction. Now that I know where it is, I will be a regular.“

“Delightful breakfast, brunch and lunch restaurant on the Black River. The atmosphere was very laid back and chill, menu was simple but offered enough choices that I looked over it 3 times prior to ordering my omelette. I will definitely be going back the next time I'm in town. The waitress Asia was fantastic, she stayed on everything and was super polite, friendly and soft spoken with classic Southern draw. I will definitely sit in her section during my future visits. Thank you for the experience.“

“I’m not a fan of doughnuts, but my family is. We’ve been displaced due to the tornadoes on March 25, so we are staying near Babe’s. I finally went in this morning after 2 weeks of eyeing it. I cannot recommend Babe’s enough; we absolutely loved every single flavor we got. Babe’s is SO MUCH BETTER than that other popular doughnut chain in Tuscaloosa. If you don’t like doughnuts, you’ll like Babe’s. If you do like doughnuts, you’ll like Babe’s.“
