“I have been eating here for over thirty years and having the all you can eat lasagna that is phenomenal on Thursdays or the Richman sub that has olive salad on it that just makes the sandwich if you like olives, it is great! I do enjoy eating here on the patio. They have had an older patio but just renovated the patio and it has a roof and it’s larger. It makes a very nice spot to eat lunch and enjoy the afternoon.“

The place is clean and well maintained for the kitties to roam around and enjoy. The staff was very kind and the overall vibe was super nice! “I love the atmosphere in General, it is wonderful! I love the maximalism going on, and the cool products for sale all around the store. They serve coffee from June coffee, and they have really good cakes and pastries. This is a really fun hangout spot during the day.“
“I went here to study the other weekend and was not disappointed! The spinach and feta quiche and the vanilla latte were outstanding. Also there is plenty of seating for studying upstairs and downstairs. I also loved that they were displaying art from a local high school in the upstairs space. “This place is a gem. I've been twice now - to meet friends for coffee / tea. I've had the quiche (delicious!). Quite a collection of to-go foods - from delicious-looking desserts to full meals. “Went for breakfast. The place is very airy and has a good vibe. We were seated promptly and presented with menus. Orrdered Huevos Rolandos and a cream cheese bagel with a side of smoked gouda grits. Everything was really good. Service was also great.“
“I’ve been to Ragtime Cafe at least dozen times now for take out food and dine in. I absolutely love all the staff. Their menu is extensive and there is something for everyone. I usually get the beef tenderloin and blackened shrimp salad. Their beef tenderloin is melt in your mouth tender and so flavorful. Everything I’ve tried there has been delicious. Their bartender V is hilarious, fast, and knowledgeable. She remembers everyone’s names and things they like. She can have a million things going on and still be getting drinks out perfectly. I wish I had time to dine in more often instead of grabbing an order to go. They are well worth a try! They have indoor and outdoor dining and can be perfect for a date night or a night out with friends!“
“Have been eating here for the past 7 years and have always enjoyed everything, wide range of food. Breakfast is really great, my personal favorite is the cheese omelette with hash browns and bacon. Can not beat the hamburger and that’s what I just ordered for today. “Nice, airy café with lite Southern comfort and homestyle fare and many products for sale separately a la carte. No line or trouble finding a table at lunchtime on a Saturday. Service was very friendly, and food was ready fairly quickly. Ordered the Andy Mac Burger and Apple Havarti, both with mac & cheese, and a slice of strawberry cake. All were good, and the Apple Havarti was a particular highlight.“
“This place was amazing! One of the best burgers i have ever had!! The owner/chef and Angel were so so so nice. I can’t thank them enough. We were driving through from STL to FL and stopped in for a quick lunch with some family. I am so glad we did. We have a 1 year old and 3 year old. The 3 year old didn’t like the sauce on the burger (moms fault) so they got us a new bun and then we asked for some hot water to make a bottle and the owner went above and beyond and boiled water for us so it would stay hot for the rest of our car ride! Thank you so much for the amazing food and kind service.“

“The chicken salad is PERFECT! It's not dry, I love the flavor and it's always fresh. Picking up lunch and dinner at the same time is so useful - it really helps with the evening rush to be able to pick up fresh food to heat up later. “We stopped in on a Saturday evening, it was not very busy and we waited about 5 mins after placing our order. Lots of tea options to pick from! Some with boba, milk teas and plenty traditional teas. Our two drinks totaled $15 so it is a little pricy but a nice experience overall“
“The church of the highlands has a great atmosphere. The volunteers are super nice, and the church has some thing for everyone. The worship is amazing, and the word of God preached from the stage is inspiring and challenging at the same time, and I fully recommend it.“
“The food is great, well prepared. The service is good as well besides me being brought my “Million Dollar Bacon” 10 minutes ahead of the rest of my food. I had to decline and tell them to wait until I’m brought all of my food. That’s my only gripe. The atmosphere is welcoming for what it’s worth. Depends on what’s “welcoming” in your eyes but it’s not unfriendly. In the end I highly recommend eating at this place. I’ve eaten at all 3 greater B’ham locations: Hoover, Vestavia, 280. Hoover’s the best in my opinion. The “MDB” is great. Pancakes are great. Italian Omelet I most recently had for first time was great as well as the grits. My girlfriend had French toast and loved it. Food has always hit the spot.“
“My first time at Railroad Park and we very much enjoyed our visit! The Alabama Symphony Orchestra was performing and it was brilliant! The weather was perfect for a night under the stars listening to an orchestra. We got in relatively quickly as it was a free show. There were a lot of people here! We brought our blanket and spread it out on the grass to listen to the show. It was crowded but not too bad where we couldn't spread out a bit. They had food trucks and plenty of places to get snacks. We were allowed to bring in a cooler with water and Cokes in it. The staff checking our things as we walked in were quick and friendly. There were plenty of portable restrooms as well as the ones at the facility. It's a very beautiful park and very clean from trash. There are several places within walking distance to get a drink or a meal. The only thing I found aggravating was the parking. There's only a limited number of street spaces available. We drove around for a good 20 minutes or so before finally finding a place to park. In all, it was a great show and a fun experience! Thanks!!“
