Now THIS is the way food should be cooked and eaten. Spices belong in dishes, not collecting dust on a shelf and this place does it right. Drove an hour to celebrate my 42nd birthday with my family and was not disappointed in the least.Please don't leave without putting that delicious gumbo in your face. Steampots were fantastic and that fried shrimp is what you've been missing. Take my word...leave here fat and sassy the way it was intended.We will be back. We will bring others.
The crab legs and steamed shrimp are excellent! All of the sides we had were very good. Great slaw and hush puppies. The only disappointment was the shrimp and grits. They use tiny salad shrimp and the sauce was weak. Would be much better using a less amount of their large shrimp and a better, creamier sauce. Service was excellent. Overall score 8 out of 10.

One of the hidden gems of Gadsden. Great location with amazing views of the river from the bar seating area. Great drinks. And the boils are the best, better than juicy crab any day. Certain nights, they offer all you can eat crab legs, but you better get there early because they fill up fast.
