“Was in town for work and had a free night. Super tiny restaurant, and reservations are required. However, my colleague and I were able to sit at the bar and eat our meal. Very intimate setting. Served immediately and quickly. Ordered the fish special. It was outstanding. A lovely grouper with a vegetable ratatouille in a burre Blanc sauce. A little on the pricey side, but definitely worth it. If ever back in town, I would definitely eat here again.“
“This was one of those serendipitous finds. My wife and I actually went next door to this place and they couldn’t seat us for 45min, so I got a table here and hopped for the best, not even looking at the menu before I got us a table. The waiter was kind and very friendly. I thought all they had was wine because they a wall that is mostly covered by the wines they have available, but I was hankering for a beer. She recommended a German beer called “Maximator” which turned out to be one of the best beers I’ve had in a while. It reminds me of Optimator which I’ve like for years, but I think I like this one even a bit more. The sandwich I had was the Albuquerque Turkey that has Hatch green chilies on it along with bacon and avocado. Delicious! My wife had the Green Gyro which was also a great choice. She let me have a bite. So, this is definitely a little gem of a place. I hope to come back soon.“

“First timer! Came in for brunch during happy hour on a Saturday. Mimosas started at $1 and went to $3. I ordered of the brunch menu. I chose the Southwest Burrito- no substitutions; it was amazing. The location not easy to spot, but easily accessible. There is a parking garage directly behind the building. Once you've been you'll be wondering how you haven't been already ?“
“Good food. A little expensive for what you get. I got the Las Vegas roll and it was tiny. Paired with a side of shrimp fried rice it was pretty good, but I ended up stopping at what a burger for a small burger later that night. So to leave a little hungry was 45 dollars. Also service was little sub par, only had my canal water (tasted suspect) refilled one time. Everyone I was with enjoyed their food, quality was good just not much of it.“

“My family and I went to the Huntsville Alabama’s location for lunch today. We had the best waitress we have had at any restaurant in a long time. Her name was Stefinie. She was beyond amazing. Not only was she friendly and funny she went above and beyond to make sure we had a wonderful experience. We would like to say thank you to her and recommend that any and everyone go and ask to be seated with her because you won’t regret it.“
“A friend and I were traveling through Huntsville. If you're staying at the La Quinta Inn and want to get blackout drunk without driving... We had a great night. I was eager to get out, and saw Ruggby's was just on the other side of the hotel. We went over there, and they have one of those horseshoe-style bars. There was some dude who just got fired from his job from a restaurant down the street. A few of his former coworkers were there and were scolding him about how bad his unnamed behavior was. My friend bought the fired dude's drinks. The bartender told us some new beer that he wasn't familiar with just got on tap. We had that, then forgot the rest of the night. Five stars. Oh, I forgot to mention that my friend couldn't find his wedding ring the next day.“
“This was my first time at the restaurant in a long time. The area was bigger than what I remembered or they added to the business. The bar area where we were could have used a few more servers. The drinks were actually really good. My second drink seemed smaller than mu first but I did not complain. I ordered some sweet potato fries. They were good but needed to be cooked just a little longer. This is one of those items that is hard to get just right sometimes. Overall I enjoyed everything. I will be back....maybe when it is just a little warmer.“

“Our work team had a group lunch at 1892 East Restaurant & Tavern this week. The restaurant worked with me to reserve a private room, make arrangements, and adapt to a date change. It all ran smoothly, everyone loved their food, and the service was great! Having the private room made it so much more enjoyable. I definitely recommend for individual meals or group events.“
“This tavern was a great location for a TVA community information meeting concerning the new power line to go across South Huntsville to Redstone Arsenal. The Rocket City Tavern is a beautiful place and very clean. Easy to find in Redstone Gateway.“
