Treating fresh local ingredients so well and not over complicating the plate is a rare thing. Most chefs try to show you how "cheffy" they are. Get the Carolina Gold Rice with the Blue Crab. It's the perfect dish. Fresh Crab, the rice is perfection and would make southern food enthusiasts like Sean Brock ask for seconds. We'll done!”

I PROMISE you, they’re better than anywhere else I’ve ever been, everrrr. Every single variety of the Bao are out of this world, I can’t decide which one is my favorite. Teens say the burgers are BOMB, hot chicken sandwich is amazing too. Atmosphere is super inviting, servers are always so friendly, informative, great at recommendations, and if outdoor seating is your thing- they have picnic tables with seats that are made to swing!!!!!!!”

“The owner, the food, the service, everything was absolutely phenomenal. Ordered a crepe it was cooked perfectly and filled with the toppings i wanted. On top of that the owner and also cook overheard me wanting to try churros and gave me a sample of churros of my choice free of charge. He brought our food out to us on the porch, checked on us, and then offered us free drinks as well. The owner was more than accommodating and was absolutely so sweet. best service i’ve had in a while. absolutely would recommend.”

“My granddaughter and I recently dined at Chuck’s Fish to celebrate her graduation. The food, drinks and atmosphere were excellent. We had kimchi Brussels, uptown shrimp, and a delicious sushi roll. Then we really did it up big with the white chocolate bread pudding. The staff went above and beyond. Very friendly and attentive. Can’t say enough about how delicious the meal was. One of the owners came to our table and checked on us to make sure we were being taken care of, which we were. I would highly, highly recommend this place!!!”

We were there with a large social group who meet once a month at different restaurants in Mobile and Baldwin counties. There are always going to be challenges with a large group, and we have had some downright awful experiences; this was the exact opposite. The servers were super friendly and knowledgeable, and if they don’t know the answer, they will find someone who does. They are also very serious about allergy issues, with a dedicated fryer AND a dedicated boiler for gluten free noodles. I also got to speak briefly with the owner, Tyler (spoilers: he’s a nice guy and a great chef). He brought me a sample of a dish they are working on because I’d seen it on their FB page and asked him about it. We will 100% be back to eat here again, and we recommend everyone else come eat too.”

“This was a tough review for me. Party of 3. We had never been to Dumbwaiter before and I had a work colleague with us. I had been given rave reviews from others. Very nice restaurant. Atmosphere was great. We arrived at 6:15 and was seated immediately. We got the first round of drinks quickly and ended up ordering an appetizer. It was delicious. Then, we waited and waited and waited some more and ordered more drinks and waited some more. Our waitress apologized. Apparently, the kitchen was backed up. Odd thing was the table beside us sat at least 20 min after us and received their entrees before us. They even ate and were leaving by the time we got our entrees. The food would have been great. I can tell it would have but my girlfriend's plate died. Steak was dry and sauce had a film over it. Grits had dried out. Had it all been fresh, I'm sure it would have been great. Service from the waitress was great but the kitchen failed us on this one.”

We almost didn't go back but I'm glad we did.
They fully redeemed themselves this time.
It started with the greeting as we walked in and only got better as things went along. Showtime was one of the best servers we've seen in a long time anywhere we've eaten and Morris is a grill operator extraordinaire. They got our order right despite the fact that we had difficult special requests and are extremely exacting.
We will definitely be returning and probably sooner than later.

Last Friday, after getting home, I found that the tenders were a little over cooked resulting in a rock hard batter which was uncomfortable to bite or chew. My wife called and spoke to Ethan the manager and he quickly offered a gift card equal to our charge so that we can get our Friday night game Foo on our next visit. After a mixup with the email, Ethan was true to his word and sent the card directly to our email. Ethan was absolutely wonderful to my wife and did everything that a business should do to keep customers coming back. Thank you Ethan…. We’ll see you Friday night.”

“It’s been years since I’ve been to the Boiling Pot and I’m so glad we decided to visit on Tuesday. The food was EXCELLENT. Everything we ordered we enjoyed. We had a steamed platter, popcorn shrimp platter, shrimp and catfish platter and the crawfish bread. Everything was perfect, even the sides. The crawfish bread was insanely good. The prices were also quite reasonable. The shrimp was big, even the popcorn shrimp. I will definitely be back.”

“Drive from Bay Springs MS to Mobile for supper last night. Found the restaurant through an internet sesrch, with no prior knowledge. Walked in, was seated immediately. The waitress was very pleasant and took our order and brought our drinks immediately. Bread and salad was out quickly, when that was finished, the main course was there. All very efficient and quick. The wife got a ribeye, medium well, it was grilled to perfection with a good smoky flavor I had fried shrimp, onion rings and sweet potato casserole. They came with cocktail, tartar and comeback sauces. Shrimp were fried to perfection and I think this may have been the best onion rings I’ve ever had. Generous portions. And when we got our bill, it did not break the bsnk. Very reasonable. Would not hesitate to go back or to recommend this place to anyone. Great experience.”

“RNR Sushi of Tillman’s corner catered a wedding rehearsal that I attended and it was flawless from the food right down to the presentation. It was so unique to experience something rarely featured at wedding festivities. The staff was extremely knowledgeable and helpful in guiding guests on what to try based on their likes/dislikes. They prepared chicken hibachi for the non-sushi consumers as well. I had some of it ALL! Definitely recommend-5 out of 5!”

I was going to start working for her and in doing that we have developed a strong, wonderful friendship. So last year, we decided to start celebrating our birthday together by going to lunch, whatever - just a Girls Birthday Out. This year we decided to go to Olive Garden. This place NEVER disappoints. This is probably my second favorite place to eat Italian food, the first being my house because yep, I am Italian. You can't fail with the soup, salad and bread sticks, but all of the sauces are really delicious. I've tried most of them (you know, just to see...) This visit we had the most delightful waitress - young, clean cut, articulate, she was a pleasure! And when we told her we were celebrating our birthdays, we received a free dessert! Very special. And affordable. Olive Garden is a traditional favorite (but you'll have to come for dinner at my house sometime. Just sayin...)”
