“I haven't tried different types of rice cakes, butInjeolmi and honey rice cake seem to taste better than Korea haha.In Korea, I only occasionally bought glutinous rice cakes...Since coming to the U.S., I’ve been buying rice cakes 1-2 times a week.“
“I have lunch here when I travel to Montgomery. I recently took a school group, and the kids had a great time sharing a homestyle meal. I’m not sure many of them had experienced a meat and 2 or 3 restaurant before! The staff treated our group very well.“
“I had lunch at Vintage Cafe on January 23 and it was outstanding. As usual the service was excellent and for the first time I tried the Vintage Salmon cake salad which has now become my go to item to order....delicious! A very unique setting in a renovated bank with dedicated parking in an otherwise crowded lunch time area. always a treat to go there!“
“Gail's Down the Street Cafe is a hidden gem in the heart of Montgomery, Alabama. My family and I visited town for Thanksgiving and we were looking for authentic Southern food and we found it at Gail's.This charming little restaurant needs to be on your list if you visit. From the moment we stepped inside, we were greeted with warm smiles and a cozy atmosphere that instantly made us feel right at home. Even Gail stopped by our table to talk to us. She's so sweet. The food was mouthwatering incredible! Gail's offers exceptional value for the quality of food and the service they provide. If you're in the area, do yourself a favor and pay Gail's a visit - you won't be disappointed!“
“Do not let the exterior of the building mislead you; it's the food on the inside that counts, and it's fantastic.Think about it this way: with an exterior that bad, how could they stay in business for decades if the food weren't good.I love this place.“
“The Food Is Always Hot, Fresh, And Very Delicious. The Service Is Awesome, There's Always A Pretty Smile On Every Face in The Place. If You Want Some Good Ole Southern Cooking, This Is The Place To Come, And You'll Get A Great Helping Of Food To Satisfy Your Taste.“
“Really nice small bakery with cooking classes periodically and a nice assortment of cookies, breads, and other baked dessertsVegetarian options: It's a bakery for sweets and breads so the majority is vegetarian with the exception being one quiche she makes“
“Home cooking and friendly service. Probably one of the best breakfast we have had, but understand it's not chain restaurant prepared. The flavors are like your grandmother cooked it. Tea sweet, coffee smooth. The ham was just right. I had 1 pieces of fried fish with my breakfast and I fell in love! Casual feel. Take note weekend for catering so sit down served week days only. Could be a local favorite.“
“Wow!!! Driving thru Montgomery on the way home to Fairhope and already planning to stop again in 2 weeks!! Food was fantastic and our server, Katlynn is amazing!! When asking about the salad/sandwich split option she told me her 2 fav’s and they were sooooo good! See you guys soon!“
