“I've been eating there since the late 1960s. My grandfather carried me and sit me on a stool. I absolutely love the food and the staff. Mrs Helen has always been so kind and caring. She makes you feel very welcome. I absolutely ?% love this place.”

“The food has always been good, I love their white BBQ sauce. The service is iffy, sometimes you wait awhile before anyone acknowledges you, sometimes you don't get refills, but if you know that going in you won't be disappointed. They keep it pretty clean and do their best I think. Inside is a neat mesh of decor and we personally like to sit under the boar.

Parking: Plenty of parking, can be busy with drive thru so just be careful

“This morning was my first time visiting Kountry Kitchen and I was searching for a good old fashioned breakfast to start my day without cooking or driving to Decatur and this definitely hit the spot! I ordered: scrambled eggs with cheese, bacon, toast, grits & a pancake and everything tasted really good! Our waitress was very friendly and we never had to ask for anything including refills. I will definitely be back!”

“We sampled several bakeries before finally choosing The Butterstick, and it was the almond cupcake that sealed the deal. It tasted just like my mother’s almond cake, and that is my daughter’s favorite. For our event, we ordered a variety of cupcakes along with a small cake for the couple, and everything was amazing. Each flavor was distinct and delicious without being too sweet or overwhelming.

The bakery handled delivery perfectly—everything arrived in beautiful condition, with the cupcakes packaged well and the cake looking stunning. Since they offer specialty cakes, we asked if a sugar-free option was possible, and they absolutely delivered! It meant a lot to us that all our guests, including those with dietary restrictions, could join in the celebration. (After sampling, I couldn’t tell the difference!) One guest was even brought to tears because we had the option available.

Since the event, I’ve had several guests tell me they’ve become customers because of those incredible cupcakes. Highly recommend The Butterstick for any special occasion!

Dietary restrictions: The sugar-free cupcakes were soft, fluffy, and didn’t have that artificial aftertaste you sometimes get with sugar substitutes. Honestly, if I hadn’t known which container they came in, I would’ve never guessed they were sugar-free. They were just as delicious as the regular cupcakes.”

“First visit got salad bar and kids tenders meal. Service was great from hostess to waitress, salad bar selection was very good just wish they had spinach or some other dark greens. Macaroni salad had a weird taste. Will be back to try more.”
