“This McDonald's has very professional and pleasant people here. No complaints really. Beyond better than the one in Northport on McFarland, and still, I'd go across the bridge in Tuscaloosa downtown over there. But they do a great job and is particular about your food not being cold, especially for fries.?“
“Clean, fast, friendly, hard workers that don’t treat their delivery specialist like Door dash or Uber eats like a criminal trying to steal time from the solicitor. Instead they accept criticism like COMPANY SHOULD. They use it to develop them into a stronger person. Awesome management apparently because a person is defined by the character that is shown to him, from his fellow friend or foe.“
“Visited for the first time today and it was a great trip! I purchased the strawberry peach blast and the key lime pop tart. Both were excellent! My toddler ate some of the oatmeal cream pie and it was delicious (mom had to taste test!). The lady working was super friendly and helpful. I’ll definitely be back!“
“Enjoyed this small southern city urban coffee shop. Has a hipster yuppy vibe. Staff exudes coolness. Atmosphere is spacious in a repurposed building with a neat variety of seating options (counter, couch, 2/4 tops amd big table). Food could use some finese: ie acai bowl needs improved presentation and I was NOT expecting, upon ordering a hot Vietnamese cofee, for her to pull out a pitcher of premade to steam up...part of what makes Vietnamese coffee's character is watching the phin kit filter slowly drip onto the condensed milk in a glass. Also if some plastic use could be phased out (spoons needing to be individually wrapped, asking if "for here" orders need tops) that would be a plus. 7.5/10 would easily hang out or meet-up here over food/drinks if in town again. Nice neighborhood feel and is on the right track.“
“Had the veggy eggy on wheat and outside of a small peice of foil in it was delicious! Generous portion and super fresh avocado. Place is super cozy and decor is worn chic. My table had crumbs on it and the foil in my food stopped me from giving a five.“
“Stopped in for a quick coffee meeting and got a latte. It has a good vibe with plenty of seating. The service was fast and came complete with some latte art. The latte was a bit strong for my tastes, but a solid entry nonetheless. Parking is available, but it on the surrounding streets. I imagine it can get difficult to park at certain times. Go check it out.“
“I don’t always get my morning coffee at Heritage House, but when I do, it’s a great start to my day. The staff there remember the regulars and their orders, and recently when we thought we might change it up and try something else…but weren’t sure if we would like it…they made us a small sample so we could try before we buy. And it worked because we got it the next time, haha. It gets really busy at times, so check the parking lot, but highly recommend!“
“I have been to Heritage House so many times as a student in Tuscaloosa. All the locations have a different vibe, but i especially love the Towncenter location because of its cozy, warm, eclectic atmosphere. The service is always great and I usually never have to wait long for my coffee. I would say that the food is one of the best parts because they make their pastries from scratch and all of them are delicious! Their kitchen food is wonderful as well! I would recommend the breakfast burrito (put the jalapeño ranch on it) with turkey sausage and an iced caramel macchiato“
“Great little coffee cafe', even though I'm not a coffee drinker. Almost every dish is made in a waffle iron. We shared Flyin Pigs and a Not So Plain Jane waffle with strawberries and wiped cream. To me, every thing on the menu sounds great. We will definitely be back to try more.“
“I’m not a fan of doughnuts, but my family is. We’ve been displaced due to the tornadoes on March 25, so we are staying near Babe’s. I finally went in this morning after 2 weeks of eyeing it. I cannot recommend Babe’s enough; we absolutely loved every single flavor we got. Babe’s is SO MUCH BETTER than that other popular doughnut chain in Tuscaloosa. If you don’t like doughnuts, you’ll like Babe’s. If you do like doughnuts, you’ll like Babe’s.“
“Mimosas 8/10Food 10/10 the sauces prepared with the food were amazing. Ambiance 7/10 Service 7/10 It's my birthday, the waitress knew that....a group of 4 came in 10 minutes after we ordered our food and they're food was prepared and given to them before my husband and I were given our food.“
“Best coffee place ever! The spicy sausage burrito is the best breakfast and the extra salsa really makes this food item shine even more! The staff is always so friendly and offers help whenever possible, by far the best drive thru in Tuscaloosa!! “
“We were in town for University Day and decided to stop here after dinner. I ordered a flight with blackberry cobbler, cherry cobbler, banana pudding and red velvet banana pudding. All delicious! My party also ordered the sweet potato pecan, cold brew and the Nutella cinnamon roll. Everyone loved their choices along with the delicious cold brew. We were so impressed with the service too. It was next level!“
“Fruit Lovely is my go to! Everything is always fresh and made how I requested, and the staff are very welcoming and friendly. My favorites are the You Do You Bowl, because I’m picky, and I get the Basic Bowl for my little (no base, just fruit!). But anytime I get them to recommend something different, I have not been disappointed. Family friendly, and I love that the Bible verse behind their concept/name is literally on their wall. Highly recommend.“
“Had been wanting to check this place out, and finally was able to without the crowds during winter break. They did not have full-sized beignets available but the “beignet bites” were tasty. The drinks and our other food were too. Comfortable seating was available and the service was friendly. Requires more effort to get to than some of my usual spots in town, but I will definitely come back during another slow time!“
“My husband and I always love to come here as a little weekend "need to get out of the house" thing. The atmosphere is really nice and the staff and management are super, super friendly. Thank you for making our weekends better ♥️“
“Standard coffee fare. Drinks are always good quality. Continually disappointed by this location randomly closing earlier than stated hours of operation. It makes us skip this location if we plan to visit within an hour and a half before close. They may be open. Maybe not.“
“By far the best location I've been to in a while. Service was smooth and fast and the inside seating area and bathrooms impeccably clean. The barista caught a misunderstanding between us in my order before I did (clarifying tea latte vs brewed tea) and all the staff seemed to be taking the time to connect on a person-to-person level instead of just moving the customers through the line. It gave a very relaxed and welcoming atmosphere for the hour or more I worked there without either becoming obnoxious/interfering on one hand or slowing the pace of service on the other.“
“The only thing i ever knew about Krispy Kreme donuts was from the grocery store. Until this trip. We were away a red light when my friend got all excited about THE HOT LIGHT IS ON! I had no idea what she was talking about until i saw the HOT light lit on the sign. It means the donuts are HOT (EXTREMELY). We went thru the drive thru and was told that they had just dropped them in the cooker and would be ready in 12 mins. And if the wait would have been 30 mins we would have been glad to wait. Those were the best, hottest and freshest donuts ever!“
“The owner is the sweetest lady and I’m obsessed with their loaded teas and shakes already. Went for the second time this morning and loved my beauty tea. Can’t say enough great things about the place! As she says it’s “love in a cup” and you can definitely feel it in there.“
