“Great food, the rolls are to die for, a cross between a donut and a dinner roll. I had the Shepherd's pie and it was good and came as a large portion enough for two. I also got the fries as an appetizer and these were thick cut fries that were crispy plus, not burned or hard just very crispy almost like a chip with a soft center, really excellent. The service was friendly, albeit a bit slow. We waited almost 15 minutes before a server came by for our drink order, but as we had not been in a hurry it did not matter at the time. The restaurant has a nice neighborhood pub feel to with sports on all the televisions.”

“We went to Durango for lunch today, 1 o’clock on a Sunday, and the food was sooo good. The strawberry daiquiri was great, the steak fajitas were marinated and came with a lime wedge which I thought was a nice addition. We usually go to the place across from Sam’s but their steak is sliced so thin and not flavorful at all, so this was such a pleasant surprise. The chips were warm and not paper thin which we loved. My husband’s plate was clean at the end and he said the pico de gallo on top of his burrito verde was really good, and he usually *hates* tomatoes! So we were both pretty shocked. We only had to wait a few minutes after we were done for the server to come back so we were glad since sometimes that can be super frustrating to wait for when you’re ready to leave. The service was great, everyone was very nice, even the server assistant that offered us more chips when we were low. Plus the music was pleasant and relaxing, not too loud, and it wasn’t freezing cold inside like some places. So overall a great experience and it’s now our go-to spot for Mexican.

“This place has some fantastic retro 1950s interior decor. The tables were sort of dirty but I asked the staff members to clean it and they came through and wiped down the tables. I ordered the double smash burger and took a seat. The food took a considerable amount of time to prepare so plan accordingly. There are some pros and cons.

Pros: Plenty of free sauces all for free and a nice selection of beverages to choose from. This along with a varied menu was nice to see

Cons: I think $7 for the tiny sandwich was a little high and the wait time was a little excessive at close to 20 minutes for that thin of a patty.

Overall, I enjoyed it and would be willing to come back to try other items on the menu. The customer service was excellent!”

“I've never been to a place as unique as this. Part game room part restaurant. The menu allows you to make your own creations with the items that they carry. I've never heard of using 2 pizzas as buns until here. I did the pizza bun with shredded chicken, rasberry vinaigrette, and shrimp. I also did a burger with 2 grilled cheese sandwiches as buns with lettuce, beef, queso, and shrimp. I also ordered a shredded chicke. Sandwich with lettuce, shredded carrots and queso on a Hawaiian bun. It was amazing.”

“I ordered two subs today through the app, But I had accidentally ordered them to the wrong location (Opelika location instead of Phoenix city). Once I got to the Phoenix city location I quickly realized i had ordered it to the wrong place because they couldn’t find my order, so I called the Opelika location to see if I could cancel my order because of my mistake. I was told by a girl manager at the time that there is no exceptions for canceling order if I had ordered it ordered to a different location. I was super upset knowing that I had just wasted $23 and still had no lunch for me or my partner and didn’t want to spend that money again. so I had placed a case through the app to see if I could get any resolution to my problem. Until Rocco another store manager from the Opelika location called me to find out more about my problem. Rocky was super professional and immediately took action to resolving my issue. He even told me that usually if someone Accidentally orders it to the wrong location the other location will call them to see if the order is there and if it is they would remake it at the location, which was some thing that the other girl manager never mentioned to me even after I sounded upset. Big shoutout to Rocco for delivering great customer service, now I will be gladly returning to eat lunch here when I pass through the area!”

“We are from LA and wanted to try a new place on our recent trip to SC. I was a little upset that only drive thru was available but we made it work. We were very pleased with the quality of the food. We had to wait a little longer for our food to be cooked so they gave us a little extra food and went out of their way to make me a salad when they were short on supplies! My hubby is picky about green beans and he said they were really good. The woman was very polite and went above and beyond with our food requests. If we are in the area we would stop by again for sure.”

I had a issue with my order where i place a togo order on a sunday during the busy hours after church... when i got home i realized there was a mixup with what i had ordered, I messaged the store via the Waffle House App and this is what happened,
Tempra(Unit Manager) and Sergio (District Manager) reached out the next day with nothing but the best intentions and that was to make sure i was able to be completely satisfied and be able to get what i needed... Tempra reached out with her personal number and said Hello I am ... and i understand that you had a issue with your order, she then listened to everything i had to say and asked me what she could do to keep my business... i then told her i just wanted her to know what happened and that i wasnt looking for this or that but even then she offered XY&Z
I realized then that SHE is a person who cares about the people who come to her establishment to enjoy the time with family and friends... She went above and beyond to make sure i was 1000% taken care of and now will only be a customer to her location... The other Waffle Houses are rude and always in a rush to get the customer out so they can play on their phones or smoke a cigarette, her location is almost always on point with all their employees being nice and personable and point... Tempra and Sergio I truly appreciate the way you both went above and beyond to make sure my wife and I were happy and taken care to the best of your abilities!! I will be back!!!”
