“This evening I went to Zoe’s with my Aunt for dinner. The food was incredible. I have been to many places but I have to say it was great southern food and I mean Great. I drove 1159 miles and been on a two month vacation and No where have I had such a great meal and the coconut cake was to die for. If you are looking for a great meal at a great price, go see them. I highly recommend them.”

“We recently went for Valentine’s Day and had an incredible experience. We ordered the Peking duck, and it was fantastic. It was just as good as what we’ve had in China.

We’ve been coming here for years, and the food has always been consistently great. Some of our favorites are the eggplant with minced pork, sautéed string beans, and chongqing chicken.

We couldn’t recommend Taste of Asia more. If you’re considering trying it, definitely do!”

The wines are high quality and there is always an excellent selection, the cheese and meats are the best in the entire Auburn area, and the $20 wine tastings are a great way to try new and (for me) inaccessible wines. Its not like I can resist the peanut butter icing anyway, but they have a loyal customer in me!”

My server immediately asked me “español?” maybe because I’m brown. Here on out was where I was a little disappointed. My parents were immigrants so I get it. But the grasp of the English language by this female staff member was kind of irritating. I kind of just gave up at certain points and just took whatever I could get when she took my order. Next time, maybe don’t assume that anyone coming in there speaks spanish and work on the English a bit.”

“I really wasn't a big snowball fan but then I got to try one from Pelican's in Opelika. It was awesome. The available flavors are incredible, but I have fallen in love with the banana with a little soft serve ice cream in it. Also, always do the whip cream topping. Every time I get one that is it. The people are awesome, pretty much High Schoolers and College students but they always have some much energy. I will keep coming back even if I didn't know any of the people there.”

My experience in Opelika , A place where a community can easily make you feel like they already know you. Market Street Cafe and community is the Central Perks of My Friends , the everybody knows your name of Cheers and the owners are like the parents of Seventh Heaven. Everyone was so helpful, on time and the quality was not lost in larger quantity! Everything was amazing! This particular luncheon is hosted in different cities and we have used Jim Bob's everytime we host locally and people always say this is THE BEST. “I visited Gohyang Garden Korean Restaurant and tried the duck jumulleok, ramen, pork cutlet, tteokbokki, and soft tofu stew (오리 주물럭, 라면, 돈가스, 떡볶이, 순두부 찌개). Everything was delicious and the tteokbokki stood out as my favorite. Honestly, their snack-style dishes (분식) were so good that this place could easily succeed as a Korean street food spot. Highly recommend if you enjoy tasty Korean comfort food 😋”
