“My friend and I went for a day of coffee and lunch and to catch up. As we sat there fellowshipping everyone was so nice and spoke to us to make sure we like the food and was very kind. It was during the day and we had a very enjoyable time.Kid-friendliness: They have hi chairs and of course all kids love MickyDees.Parking was plentiful and close by in the lot.“

“Our waitress is super friendly and made us feel at comfort when it was our 1st time in Alabama and at Mudtown.I hardly eat fried pickles but Mudtown's fried pickles is beyond DELICIOUS!!! Fresh, crunchy and seasoned just right--LOVE IT!! The Shrimp and grits is really good. I went all out and got warm chocolate chip cookies with vanilla ice cream drizzle with chocolate fudge syrup-- spectacular!! Definitely wouldn't mind coming back again!“

“The cray fish boil they have is amazing. I'm not sure if this is an annual thing or not but it is something worth coming to year after year. Good food, all u can eat for this type of event, drinks, and outdoor setting... just amazing. Ask anyone who has been here before and they will only have good things to say about the experience.“

“First of all, this is a really cool place. I really love the vibe. Lots of cool merch, and then really good food too. The food was great, everyone was working hard to get you your food, and the atmosphere is really good too. Friendly. It is loud, but not in a bad way. The area is actually really nice and there's a nice parking lot right across from the restaurant. Downside: they are kinda slow. This looks like it should be fast food, but it's not. I came right after they opened, and there was maybe 5-6 people in front of me, and it took a good 20 minutes for them to take my order. About 10 to get the order. I don't know if that was bc they just opened up maybe? Wasn't a big deal. Other thing is: this isn't cheap. Most of the burgers and sandwiches are $15 or more. (There's a couple of items that are cheaper, but they aren't what I went for - I went for their burger). Comes with fries, but does not come with a drink. Drinks are all $4.99 and up. So, for a burger, fries, and some sort of fancy lemonade, it was right at $26. Pretty high. I really liked it though. I'll probably go again, and just get the sandwich and fries - because you can't find vegan stuff almost anywhere in Bham, and this is good stuff as long as you're not broke or in a big hurry.“

“This is only the second time I have been in this restaurant but that was before COVID hit. It still has a friendly staff, good food, and a great dive bar atmosphere. There is an upstairs bar which is covered and if I had known that I would have sat upstairs. There is an upcharge for fries, which I was surprised as I thought it only pertained to the sweet potato fries. I will definitely be back to try a different burger and some of the great beers on tap and in the cooler.“

“I should have done this sooner. On point.I can't find any negatives. I'm blown away by the portions, The bread is so light, but solid.The steak. My man didn't go budget shopping on that part, It's upper echelon.You can taste and feel the texture of the onions and peppers, That's freshness. “Always great food and customer service Travis has been doing his thing now his son is doing the exact same thing came all the way from Houston, TX to get his food and still great as usual but I will say this they need to remember the regular customers and keep certain things they way they are because that's what regular customers know them for. Put them bell peppers back on y'all stuff cause when I lived here years ago that's how it was but the son told me recently that a lot of people don't like them i said to him well I had been coming to this truck 20+ years and I know hundreds of people that prefer the old way better even if it's on the side I'm okay with that so upon request you can just cook it with mine and I'm good. “This is another time I wish there were more options for stars. Five just isn't enough. Again, while traveling from Tennessee back to Dallas, we looked up great burger joints. “This is a great little diner. Today I stopped in to pick up that Slammin' Bacon cheeseburger for a late lunch around 2. There were a few others inside and a couple also waiting for takeout. The person who took my order and ran the counter was very friendly and on top of things. My food came out in a few minutes and was brought piping hot and with a smile. The burger was excellent and the fries were very good too. Under $12 plus tip. Go to Pop's for the best diner food.“

“The food was great... The only reason why I gave a 4 for service is because they forgot to skip the onions on my bacon cheddar cheeseburger. And I gave them a 4 for atmosphere because there were only 5 customers including us there at 230p so I couldn't really tell how it would normally be when it was busy... Overall I will definitely be backParking: There is not a drive thru so you have to park somewhere. Well, there is not much room around store for parking and NO BiG vehicle will fit in the parking lot next to location downtown. The parking shared by everyone around location only has about 30 spots and then there are another 20 spots on street, some free and some with meter. There are 7-10 food choices in block for dining so it can be tiredsome to find parking but going during off peak times would help..“

“The patty melt was good although the cucumber salad side was very small. My friend ordered the Buffalo Chicken salad and it was huge, he said it was very good. We ordered fried pickles but had to remind the waiter twice before we got them. They are sliced longways and are delicious. I enjoyed the meal but I'm not sure I'd return when I'm in town again.Parking: This is in a larger mall type area with a lot of parking available around the complex.“

“Marty's is the go to neighborhood spot in Irondale. Located in a shopping center, there is always plenty of parking. You order at the bar and the staff is always friendly. The music selection is always on point (very important to me) and you're surrounded by locals. Marty's Big Mick might be my favorite smash burger in Birmingham! My husband gets the wings every time we go, he says they are top tier.“

“They are a small business food truck that demonstrates nothing but exemplary customer service. My husband went by while they were in Helena for their to die for peach crumble. They were out of the dessert but they offered to make half a pan for us and said they will have it ready the next day at their next location at Shelby Baptist. I went by to pick it up and not only did they have it ready but they brought it out to me at my car. They are such nice people and I’m very happy at the customer service they display. “I went to Heroes for brunch on Sunday and it was great! I ordered the loaded hashbrowns with the chicken sausage, a chocolate doughnut, and an iced vanilla latte. It was a bit on the expensive side, but I really enjoyed the food and the coffee! I definitely think the hashbrowns were with the price because of how filling it was, and the doughnut was a nice added treat. The workers here are always super kind (though I wish they'd fix their BlazerBucks machine since it's always out of service) and the dining area is nice and atmospheric. It's in a very pretty spot by Railroad Park, so the view is pretty as well! As for COVID-19 precautions and sustainability, I saw how frequently the workers cleaned the inside and it seems to be well-maintained. Masking or social distancing procedures don't seem to be in place from what I can tell. If you dine-in, there seems to be very little waste, though I would assume plastic containers and utensils are used for take-out. Overall, I had a really great experience and I think this location is like a hidden gem!“

“I took a group of 10 women to your establishment last night for a treat and we weren’t disappointed! The service was friendly and patient with our big order and the food was delicious! “I went to Five Guys to get a hot dog. I went to Five Guys around 8PM and the restraurant was prettying much empty so I got to order my hot dog right way. I ordered all beef hot dog with ketchup and mustard to go. I did not have to wait too long for my order to be served to me. The hot dog was good and well cooked. The restraurant was very much clean and well organized. The restraurant took covid 19 precaution by providing hand sanitizer near the entrance. Also, the Five Guys have sustainability packaging for most food and drinks since they use paper packaging and cups. Overall the experience was good and I would go there again.“

“I got the big hot ham and cheese sandwich. It was big! It was hot! The cheese was melted! The bun was stained or grilled and was hot also. I love the big hot ham and cheese at Hardee's. The one today at the store on Decatur Highway in Fultondale Alabama was a wonderful sandwich. James was my cashier at the drive-thru and he was a very nice and literate young man. I was proud to see a young man of his stature working at the store. The store is not in our normal area but in the future when we are in Fultondale we will stop by and see this store again. “I had a great evening in the Pizitz Food Hall. I decided to try out this place and the employees were very nice. They allowed me to patiently take my time to choose the topping I wanted. The employees made great suggestions on what I should try for the first time. I ate a hot dog and it was so delicious! It came out fresh and was so full of flavor. I recommend to try their hotdogs with grilled onions and their chipotle sauce! The atmosphere of the workers were unforgettable! Thank you all for being so supportive and generous to me!“

This is THE spot for a hot dog or burger or even breakfast.Their chicken salad is always great, as well, You can get a beer now, if you want, and there are a couple of tables outside like they had at the original location. “This place was amazing! One of the best burgers i have ever had!! The owner/chef and Angel were so so so nice. I can’t thank them enough. We were driving through from STL to FL and stopped in for a quick lunch with some family. I am so glad we did. We have a 1 year old and 3 year old. The 3 year old didn’t like the sauce on the burger (moms fault) so they got us a new bun and then we asked for some hot water to make a bottle and the owner went above and beyond and boiled water for us so it would stay hot for the rest of our car ride! “If you are looking for fast service with a smile, Milo's is the place to go, especially in this area. Other fast food restaurants in the Irondale/Bham area often offer terrible service, including forgotten and incorrect orders, long lines, and even managers yelling at employees. Whenever I visit Milo's, it is a great experience!! The cashiers are always pleasant, and our order is correct. My favorite meal is the toasted cheese sandwich with pickles, onions, and Milo's sauce, fries, and a Coke Zero.“

Big windows and great commom green area outside provide great atmosphere and people watching whether you're eating inside or outside. They have other items that aren't on their online menu, so be sure to check the board and ask about specials!Ordered a double bacon cheeseburger and chicken philly, both with fries, and vanilla and strawberry shakes. Burger and cheesesteak were great, and good quality chicken in the philly. Fries were great, too. Shakes were okay, but not super flavorful, and the chocolate and strawberry are just syrup flavors.“

“Sol's Hog Dogs is a staple. I don't know their historical background BUT they really have been around forever!! The location in Norwood is what I remember growing up. I had been trying to get my hands on some Sol's since before Easter. Unfortunately, they don't answer their phones. So annoying! The day I visited for lunch, it was packed. I placed my order at the counter and they call out your order when it's ready. This could cause some confusion. What if multiple people ordered the same thing?! I had no issue with my order but there's definitely a more effective way...... My 2 hotdogs (well done) all the way were fantastic!!. Fries were just okay. Skinny and borderline greasy. I still ate them all up! lol Next time I will dine in instead of eating in the car. Highly recommend. You are certain to take in the rich history they have created within the walls of Sol's hotdogs!“

“This Milo's location used to be very nice. Not so much now, because of personnel changes including managers, the service is not as quick & efficient as it once was. Employees disagreements can be heard over the drive thru speaker is very unprofessional to say the least! This location in Forestdale is losing customers daily!“

“Sundays at Ferus are Fundays. This was my first visit to Ferus. My son, who works in Avondale, suggested it. Their outside area was really nice, plenty of seating and a stage with live music on Sundays. They also serve a Sunday brunch. I ordered the Avondale Breakfast Plate. It came with a biscuit, bacon a choice of eggs and side choice of either fruit, garlic herb potatoes which they were out of or cheese grits. The food was good, but being a busy Sunday, we had to wait a while for it.“

“I picked up my take out order. I told the staff I needed the strawberry shake. I was told a couple minutes later it was in the bag. I checked and I could see the top of the cup so I left. Got home and it was vanilla. My husband ordered the hot ones burger and there was a quarter size of sauce in the middle of the top bun. His burger was basically dry. My bacon burger was cooked too long, part of it was not edible because it was hard as a rock. This was my first time coming here and I don't plan on returning.“

“The food is always cooked to desired order. The staff are super friendly and fast. I live 15 minutes away and order online. When I arrive, my food is ready. I'm allowed to check to make sure it's how I've requested. I pass at least 5 chicken joints before I get to this place. That should tell you everything.“

“First time trying and it was good. I’m not from here so We came around 5:30 but the menu board was messed up so I had to go with what was most popular. We ended up getting a 2 chicken biscuits , 2 medium hash browns and a pork chop with gravy. Everything was good. Sauce and napkins were in the bag.“
