I always love hanging out at Walk-On’s whether it’s for a work lunch or to catch an evening game, but last night was probably the best experience yet thanks to our server, Aspen! ☺️ Aspen is the absolute sweetest & has the BEST personality! Not only was she an EXCELLENT server, but she was fun to hang out with too! Just wanted to brag on her this morning. 👏🏼👏🏼 You’ve got a good one with her! Great food and staff!! My youngest son also just won an iPad tonight at dinner, playing games after we ate! Family friendly, and great atmosphere! What’s not to love!

Walk-On's Sports Bistreaux - Tuscaloosa Restaurant offers great food with generous portions, although wait times can still be a bit long due to workload. The blackened catfish and redfish dishes remain excellent, with flavorful salmon and asparagus. The fried catfish is crispy on the outside and cooked perfectly, while the fried shrimp continues to impress. Boom Boom shrimp tacos are a popular choice, and gator bites are delicious, paired with a good sandwich and beer selection. The restaurant features many televisions showing all the games, creating a lively atmosphere perfect for sports fans. Service is friendly and attentive, with many guests praising the staff, especially their servers, who are noted for their courteous and helpful service. The chicken sandwich is large, well-cooked, and topped with plenty of bacon on a fresh bun. The étouffée still exceeds expectations, and the chocolate chip with ice cream is tasty and recommended. Although vegetarian options are limited, the custom draft beers and outstanding service enhance the experience. Parking is not a concern, and red beans and rice come with pork, so those with dietary restrictions should be cautious. Overall, despite some minor delays, diners are sure to return for the delicious meals and lively environment, making it a priority stop for many who pass through Tuscaloosa.
