First time visitors to George's Restaurant. My wife and I like to eat LOCAL, George's fit that requirement. We each ordered a sandwich and side. The Philly was excellent, Reuben was good too. Their fries are top-5 I've ever had! I ate most of the potato salad on her plate too (carb loading for a hike). Service was excellent, super friendly, and fast! Shyla took great care of us! Finally....old-fashioned service! We thought it was gone forever! There is hope! Go to George's....generous portions...(they literally give two plates because of the HUGE portions!)fair prices.... hot, fresh and delicious....we will be back....with friends and family.Vegetarian options: I had a salad and had to take over half of it home. Many to choose from. Delicious!Kid-friendliness: Plenty of room for kids....

Ordered the cheese burger w fries and the chili dog. The hand formed patties were tasty, but the burger was very small. It didn't stay very warm. Also, fries were cold, which makes them hard to eat. Maybe time of day and crowd had an effect on the fries being cold. You do get a large portion of fries. The chili dog was very good and fries were cold also. Good enough to give another try. Other items appear good on the menu as well.
