Don't miss these Greenwood Mexican restaurant gems.
“My friend and I fought the 5 o’clock traffic to have Maverick’s tonight in Greenwood. The food was what you would expect from a good solid Hispanic restaurant. There were also options for “American Dinners” that included catfish and chicken fried steak. They employ students from the local high school and Harvey made our meal even better. I tried Maverick’s when they first opened an it was a buffet. They offer the buffet for lunch hours and we will be back again to try it again. Great restaurant for this small town.“
“We made a trip down south to visit family. We decided Mexican was on the menu! We happened to stop here on a whim with 7 adults and 4 kids. They were so generous and kind and got us seated right away! They were quick and accommodating! Highly recommend this place and will be back!“
“The employees were really nice, but the restaurant was kinda dirty, someone spilled coke all over the counter and it had just sat there turned into a sticky mess on the counter, there wasn't a clean table anywhere in the restaurant, I think I came in maybe after a lunch rush, cause everything else was great“
“Blue Agave is a lovely little restaurant, the staff is super friendly, and the food is absolutely delicious. Their prices are much lower when compared to other Tex-Mex restaurants in the surrounding areas. If you like tex-mex food you seriously need to pay a visit to Blue Agave, because you will not be disappointed.Kid-friendliness: About as child friendly as most restaurants.“
“We really enjoyed the food very much, ofcourse I ordered more then I could eat, but the leftovers was awesome. I thought the prices where high but the amount of food and quality was more than enough to make up for the price, I'll be eating on leftovers for a few days. The girl that greated us looked like she was having a bad day but that was not any concern to us, but the waitress was awesome, kept us happy with refills and quickly met our needs. We had an awesome experience and will be more then glad to come again, I'm going to try the Margs next time.“
“This place was surprisingly good. We found them by accident and they are situated back off the road. On Tuesday, tacos are $1 and they are good size tacos that are filling. The Big Daddy burrito is MASSIVE and my husband loved it. Service was great. There isn't really anything wrong with the decor, it's just pretty meh.“
“The food here is untouchable! I've never. Ever. Gotten served food here that wast top notch, speedy, hot.... you name it. They are attentive and friendly. Just. Plain. Professonal.Kid-friendliness: The vibe here is great and the servers are very courteous. Outstanding service“
“This place is a favorite of mine when you need either a quick lunch , or family dinner. Great atmosphere, and it's small size might surprise you. Even when busy, it's not too crowded; and it's cozy space allows for the wait staff to better serve your needs.“

“On our way home from Hot Springs, Arkansas to Kansas City. We stopped at this restaurant a few miles off the highway. Our lunch stop was less than 45 minutes and luckily we just missed the church rush on Sunday morning. Our food was delicious, chips and sausage, chicken enchilada, taco, beans and beef burrito all great!“
