“Unlike the Heavener Runestone, El Celaya Mexican Restaurant is authentic. I would classify it as being on the TexMex end of the Mexican food spectrum. Chili gravy on the tamale and the enchiladas. Yellow cheese topped the taco and the enchiladas, that were both filled with zesty flavorful ground beef. It turned out to be a delicious find, making today's drive to Heavener on this beautiful fall day even better. The restaurant appears to be new and well maintained. Very clean inside. The restroom was not a typical small town grungy water closet. The service very good. There are other Mexican restaurants in Heavener, but I would be willing to bet you a cold beer El Celaya Mexican Restaurant is the best one!“
“We have always been big Don Pablo's fans, we were very sad to see it dissolve, however Tacos El Tio is a fine replacement to Dons. My wife and I have dined their twice. The atmosphere is casual, the service is excellent and the Food is delicious and flavorful. The only exception is the refried beans are more of a soup consistency, I prefer more beans. We don't drink so I can't comment on the bar, soda and tea tasted fine. We have had their tacos, los Nachos, salad entrees and the Trio Fajitas. All very tasty. We will be going back soon.“
“Some of the best tasting and truly authentic Mexican food I have found in the area. We drove all the way from Mena and were floored with how delishious it was. It doesn't have heat or air so I would suggest getting it to go, but it is worth every bit of being chilly for a few minutes while you wait. That is a very good and talented person cooking in that kitchen.“
“We were camping at Lake Wister State Park and we asked a local resident for recommendations on Mexican restaurants in the surrounding areas. He highly recommended Si Senor. We will certainly pass on this recommendation to anyone in the future. The food was excellent and the service was great! I got the chimichanga and my husband got a rice dish with meat, peppers, onions and tomatoes. Our food was hot and very good.
