“By far the best coffee in town. I could leave a long post detailing every reason why, but I think you should just go see for yourself! There's a reason many establishments in Hot Springs use Red Light roasts and blends. My last visit I had a breve, vanilla lavender, latte - lightly sweetened. Outstanding as always!“

“What a great place!! Good atmosphere. Friendly and welcoming from the moment we stepped in. An abundant selection of coffees and food. Order from the menu or build your own. The Hawaiian Bowl was amazing!! Cilantro lime rice, black beans, pork, fresh grilled pineapple, topped with fresh cilantro and a lovely sauce. Served with a side of pickled onions. So tasty!! We took a couple of cinnamon rolls home for later. My choice was the toasted coconut roll to top off my Hawaiian themed bowl. It was perfect!! They have both sweet and savory rolls, vegan options, plus they serve breakfast all day. First visit, but already thinking this might be my new favorite place.“

“Melinda’s is one of our favorite restaurants anywhere - we live in Houston but spend a lot of time in Hot Springs too. We love the breakfast tacos (Daniels or regular - both are great) and coffee (oat milk mochas), and the pastries are awesome when you want a treat. Everyone is great who works here too. Highly recommended!“

“Best quesabirria tacos I've ever had. Mayra, the owner, always provides excellent customer service. It is a food truck, but outside seating is usually available unless it's super busy. Eating there is recommended to takeaway because the tacos have a nice crisp when eaten straight from the grill. They'll be a bit soggier if you take them home.“

“I loved the food selection, especially the desserts. We each got something different (6 of us) and everyone was happy with their food. The staff was incredibly friendly and quick to help us or offer suggestions. I absolutely recommend the chocolate chip cookies and creme pie and the Reuben. So good!“

“Excellent food and the most amazing English muffins I've ever had (hence the name). They were sold out of the apple cinnamon that I wanted to try, but the cranberry citrus and pumpkin spice were both amazing. Incredibly friendly people... a large staff that worked like a well-oiled machine. The place was clean and the service was fast with everyone doing their thing. I went three days in a row and they were always busy but efficient as hell. A must try“

“We had such a fantastic lunch at The Chipmunk Cafe last Monday at the eclipse. We had called in advance to ask for healthy options & they were extremely accommodating and helpful and courteous. our box lunches were ready & my dad had caeser salad chicken wrap, my mom had a veggie burger & I had an all American burger. They were perfectly prepared. I watched as some very rude customers were complaining excessively & the staff took it in stride & were calm and obviously were doing their best. We plan to visit Garvan Gardens again & will definitely eat at The Chipmunk Cafe again. Everything about this place is terrific!“

“I can't speak about all the food here because the chicken fried steak is so good it is rare that I get anything else. I do sneak in every once in a while for breakfast and those biscuits and gravy are good as you will find anywhere in this town.“
