“Family of 4 walked in around 530 on a Tuesday without Reservations, promptly seated near the kitchen. Had great interactions with the chef. He even stopped by with some amazing fries for us to enjoy while we reviewed the menu. Service was fantastic with a smoke-show old-fashioned being quite entertaining. Apps and entries were fantastic all-around and the kitchen took special care of the kiddos, lowering the spice on the salmon for one and making pasta for the other, 10/10, enjoyed the whole experience and will return.”
“these were the some of the best birria tacos ive ever had!! they were LOADED with meat and cheese and the consome was so spicy and deep/rich w flavor. 9.5/10 would eat everyday if my body could withstand it.”
“Homemade queso, salsa and chips for the nachos were awesome, tasted homemade and well seasoned. The chips has a different flare to them I wasn’t expecting but good for a change. Not the best in town but definitely not bad for a tasty snack and worth trying if you love nachos. Quesadillas also tasted homemade, Americanized flare, nicely seasoned with delicious salsa. Definitely want to try more on the menu, especially excited about the quesabarilla ramen ?”
“They have some house drinks on tap alongside their beer. (Moscow Mule, Lemondrop Shot, and Margarita). Taphouse burger was great and the battered mushrooms were excellent. Though it is worth knowing that their kitchen doesn't open until 7 if you planning on eating.”
“I ordered a build your own strawberry and chocolate crepe with powdered sugar. It was delicious. The strawberries were extremely fresh and the crepe was very tasty.”
“Went to JoJo hibachi. My gf has been super adamant about us trying it. I tell you it didnt disappoint. Really! Steak was cook amazingly and the yum yum sauce tho! Lol”
“This is a small, family run business. I feel good about spending my money here. The food was great. We had the beef pot roast, chicken tetrazinni, and chicken and dumplings. We also had the garlic bread and green beans. All of it was great. I would say the chicken and dumplings and the beef pot roast were better in my opinion than the tetrazinni. The banana pudding is pretty good and the ding ding cake is phenomenal. We stopped here on the first night of our trip and bought dinners for the 3 nights we were in town. It was great and so much less expensive than eatting out every night. I wish they were local to me! I would be back for sure. Even my picky 3 year old approved.”
“I had a nice time at this restaurant. I got my food quickly and it tasted very good. I even got to sample some of the brisket and it was soo good! Service is great here! Thank you! This is a wonderful black owned business! ?”
“Usually get takeout here, but have dined-in multiple times. Staff ranges from very good to exceptional. Food is so amazingly reliable in it's excellence. Flavor, temperature, texture, plating, serving size and price-tag are, without exaggeration, unbeatable.Their take-away service is equally awesome, if not better.Try the Enchiladas Tipicas, or my favorite, the Carnitas platter.”
“My first visit. And I will definitely be back. The food is great. The service was fast and friendly. Definitely a change from the other food chains. Their burgers beats everyone else's around town. Especially MD & ”
“The food here is extremely good and has fast friendly service. I came and tried their delicious bowls, I’ve heard their tacos are amazing too so 10/10 can’t wait to come back and try it again!”
“Would I say this is the best BBQ I have ever had? Probably not, although the food is good quality and is delicious. Now to my point about that. We ordered a sampler platter which included brisket, ribs, smoked sausage, chopped BBQ, plus 2 sides and a roll and a piece of Texas toast. That was only $24! We left food on the table as there were only 2 of us. If you want real good BBQ at very reasonable prices, this is a place for you! I saw someone with a BBQ salad and couldn't believe how big it was. I also saw someone with nachos. Same huge portion. Try it out! Eat, drink and be awesome!!”
“I never saw a Purple Cow,I never hope to see one,But I can tell you, anyhow,I’d rather see than be one!Gelett BurgessKid-friendliness: It's a diner with a purple cow theme.”
“We tried to eat here when we got into town on Saturday night…we didn’t realize you needed reservations…they were actually OUT OF PIZZA, but the girl was super nice about it, not rude at all! So on Sunday, we decided to eat lunch at the place we had planned on going to for dinner, so we could order a pizza to go for later that evening! Worked out pretty perfectly! We were scheduled to pick up at 5:30. It wasn’t ready when we arrived, no biggie, but at 5:40, they informed us it would be another 15 mins…ugh…I want to give props to Heather…she offered to buy us a drink while we waited, which was super nice of her!! I declined, but my hubs did have a beer!! In the end, it was worth the wait…the pizza was delicious! Would definitely recommend this place to others, just remember to make reservations or order to go for later!!!Parking: There is paid parking within town, but also plenty of free parking…if you’re lucky enough to snag a spot!”
“Pretty place. The gentleman was very helpful helping my husband decide what to order ( which he enjoyed) The little girl was super cute and nice of course. She assisted my two kiddos pick out a bracelet. Highly recommend this awesome place.”
